It's not a good day for you when a guy who works for TMZ is lecturing you about responsibility in guiding public opinion. (And it's doubly ironic that TMZ was so hard in the tank for Trump pre-election.)

If you thought Kanye was trying to break out of the mold and have new ways of thinking he ............. repeats an old lie that blacks don't march when there's black on black crime in Chicago, which is blatantly false. And then he goes all civility where the real people is the other person is yelling and it's making everyone look bad. Jesus.

Deplorables: He's one of the good ones!

So about that lobbyist who rented out an apartment to Pruitt but who supposedly didnt have any business in front of the EPA, but turned out later he did. Well he had a bit more business with the EPA

Quote:
Also*on Tuesday, new details emerged about the lobbying of the E.P.A. by J. Steven Hart, the lobbyist whose wife had last year rented a $50-a-night condo to Mr. Pruitt. Congressional investigators on Tuesday provided The New York Times*with an email*in which Mr. Hart asked Mr. Pruitt for help in getting three people appointed to the E.P.A.’s prestigious Science Advisory Board. They had been recommended by Smithfield Foods, a company that was a client of Mr. Hart’s lobbying firm, and its Smithfield Foundation, a charitable subsidiary.
The email was sent in August 2017, a few weeks after Mr. Pruitt had moved out of the apartment, but at a time when he still owed money to Mr. Hart’s wife.
Imagine your landlord, who just gave you a sweetheart deal on rent, casually stopping by to tell you who to hire at your job

That's quite the rebuke of Kanye by Van Lathan. If I sat down for an hour I couldn't come close to that. Unfortunately I doubt it's possible to really reach Kanye. He's on Trump's level of reality.

It's difficult to know where to draw the line between Kanye's legitimate mental illness and just being really dumb.

Voted Rod. Dude don't care at this point and it's only a matter of time before he's canned.

I have a family reunion coming up in about 10 days. A week long with 20 of us sharing a 12 bedroom house. My brother emailed everyone to specifically say that politics is off topic. There's only like 4 deplorables going but if something big happens, it will get interesting.

BTW- 16 of us supposed to keep our mouth shuts in order to not upset the 4 deplorables. Gee, why won't the Dems ever win?

Watch out or the Trumpkins will gerrymander the bathrooms on you.

I see lots of Trumpkins claiming Kanye is now playing 4D chess. I think he's legit mentally ill, I mean he was forced into the psych ward not that long ago.

Definitely mental. There's no consistency in any of his behavior.

There is one consistency--it gets him attention which he wants. Just following the Trump model of saying something ridic and idiots keep falling for it discussing it and acting like it's something worthy of debate then people go, well it triggers libs so it must be right and then WAAF.

If the media totally ignored Trump's nonsense he'd have never been president. Kayne definitely could win a presidential election.

Regarding Kanye, it's hard to imagine that all of this can't have something to do with him having a new album coming out. I mean, I'm not suggesting he's some marketing genius or anything, but seems like it could be a factor.

Actually starting to feel bad for Kanye tbh. Guy really needs help.
05-02-2018 , 09:05 AM
As someone with a lot of experience with smart people with mental illness, the guy is clearly sick.
05-02-2018 , 10:09 AM
Doctor crazy hair finally admitted what we all knew, that trump wrote that letter which claimed he would be the healthiest person ever elected to the presidency. Wonder how long until we hear the same from ex-VA nominee and now disgraced ex-presidential doctor Ronny Jackson?

it's weird that it's frowned upon to speculate on his wellbeing, when the last we saw of him in 2016 he was having a public mental breakdown, begging jay z not to have him murdered, and ultimately being institutionalized. also he admitted he was addicted to opioids at the time, and i dunno what he's on currently, but i bet it's not nothing.

the idea that this is a carefully choreographed bit of promotion is just lol to me, and the exact type of 4d chess over analysis people do with trump. he's just gone insane and he's clicking buttons.

I really don't think he's dumb. A lot of his lyrics are really clever, and some have some worthwhile social commentary - not to mention his influence on other artists and his production work. I don't know enough about mental illness to give an armchair diagnosis, but he seems to go through episodes of incoherence and mania.

It's sad to watch.
