This. The high is quicker, more intense, and wears off quicker. Unlike coke, it's also impossible to be social because everyone is pretty much just focused 100% on the crack pipe. Or so my friend says.

The neo-fascism of Steve Bannon’s Breitbart is farther to the right on race and immigration than, say, the National Review, but on certain economic issues they appear to flank them from the left. Instead, we must rank them by their demeanor. How thoroughly do they embody the worst characteristics of conservative writing? How smug are they? How convinced are they of their own superior intellect? Are they painfully, seethingly horny? As many of the worst specimens delight in terrifying the world with poor grooming decisions, our measuring stick will be the goatee, here affixed to a tiny troll face. The longer the goatee, the more bat**** insane the publication.

There was a Frontline episode on Bannon last night, "Bannon's War." I was only half paying attention but it was effective in raising my anxiety level. A lot of that comes from the music and dramatic-voice narrator guy, but still. You can watch online here

I have like 15 Frontlines saved up for whenever I want to go into anxiety/depression/blind rage overload.

In Stockholm at the moment and this may be my largest exposure to British people ever due to the Europa League final game (whatever that is, isn't there a Champions League too? so many leagues) here tonight, between Man U and Ajax Amsterdam.

There's a bunch of Man U people at a bar down the street that have been singing loudly for two days. I can constantly hear them from our hotel. It's like they work in seamless shifts or something, it never stops, it's incredible.

Yesterday evening as we enjoyed a glass of wine on the hotel patio we were treated to one of them puking twice in the adjacent market square.

Is it even a meltdown anymore if you're like that 24/7?
05-24-2017 , 02:48 PM
True, I guess the next stage is vaporisation.

You mean you agree with him.

The poor have less class mobility because of less resources. Which isn't a mindset.
