At least 8 dead, police scanner indicates shooter claiming “All Jews must die.” Two first responders apparently also shot.

Pennsylvania has very lax gun control laws. When I was a prosecutor in NY we were constantly getting people who had come from PA with guns that were legal there. I’d bet a lot that this was done with legally purchased guns in that state.

Yeah I spend a lot of time in Squirrel Hill, my girlfriend's parents live there and we're over there for a dinner a couple times a month. My girlfriend was just picked up by her parents to go shopping (I don't know where) and then the first time I hear about the shooting is this ****ing thread by the Trump bot. So then I have fun experience of frantically calling girlfriend while turning on TV to see wtf is going on. She and her parents are fine, but still this ****ing **** makes me so sick to my stomach.

Makes me feel good about sending my kids to Sunday School tomorrow (and my daughter's Bat Mitzvah is a year from yesterday).

Trump's and the right's rhetoric is so bad that when I took my daughter to Shabbat services a few weeks ago (honestly, it's not something I normally do, but she had to for school), I was actually thinking about what to do if someone came in and started shooting. I had never thought anything like that before.

Most of the cretins probably already have guns, or would get them if they thought real gun control laws were coming.

What's needed as well is compulsory buyback but that probably leads to some kind of civil war because of how tied the country is to the idea of the 2A. America is fukkked.

According to social media posts that GAB has now wiped, the shooter was anti-Trump. He hated him for being a "globalist" who he thought was controlled by the Jews. He said Trump wasn't a true white nationalist.
