mélenchon mad as hell and he's not gonna take it anymore

This debate has been pretty good knock about fun, but not sure it's doing anything for the campaign. Who can say, though, it's chaotic stuff at times.

Asselinau sending Macron in orbit tho

More like Asselolno.

Not sure if a lot of people watched that mess but it seems like Melenchon gained the most:

Macron should be fine as long as he doesnt self-destruct. I'm starting to dream of Melenchon capturing the Le Pen protest vote and of a Macron-Melenchon second round.

Melenchon is also anti-Europe right? Don't really know much about him
04-05-2017 , 02:09 AM
He's more into changing Europe than leaving it. His platform is mostly unicorns, rainbows, and pies in the sky, though he can be worrying at times when he go full populist or pro-Putin. I dont think he can be elected, but if he can take the current anti-foreigner anger and redirect it at injustice and unequality instead that's a huge win.

He's ****in not, he loves France, Europeist dorks seem to hate this notion, especially when it's not tied to racism and bigotry.

Asselineau has litterally hundreds of hours of conferences available online, what conspiracies exactly you have in mind?

Nice of you to bash underground medias but are you aware that France is ranked behind Botswana and Trinidad and Tobago in Freedom of press.

Asselineau is such a nut and easy to dismiss that yesterday when he informed the other 10 candidates that nobody could apply whatever promises they were making beause of the GOPE(European directives), they all looked at their shoes and no one came back at him.

To be clear i don't give a **** about conspiracies like i don't give a **** about Rudy Reichstadt, Caroline Fourest or Alain Soral, I want out of this failed Europe and NATO, that's it.
04-05-2017 , 09:05 AM
Just as some added context wrt that freedom of press ranking: France is ranked in the same ballpark as the UK and US (all within 38th-45th). That's significantly behind the bulk of other western nations but also well clear of the likes of Russia or Turkey (150ish).
04-05-2017 , 09:16 AM
For the country of les lumičres and les droits de l'homme et du citoyen, being ranked 40 something is utter failure. Behind the US who's some main outlets rather show an empty podium of Trump rather than a victory speech of Bernie is also telling.
04-05-2017 , 09:27 AM
I just added some context because your examples, while truthful, were clearly chosen to give a grim impression instead of an honest summary.
04-05-2017 , 09:38 AM
When i get called a nationalist i have a natural tendancy to lift off.

if gope is the stability and growth pact (in some version) it was agreed upon by a (weak) french head of government and everyone else's too*. it wasnt some eu directive.

and everyone just ignores it anyway because it is pretty stupid.

*plenty of countries didnt sign up for the latest version tho

I know it's hard for you to be called something you hate (Le Pen)

But you can be nationalist without being racist, and that's exactly the political position of Asselineau
04-05-2017 , 11:13 AM
Asselineau is a patriot, Le Pen is a nationalist. would you call De Gaulle a nationalist? The pro-euro propaganda must be going full steam in Strasbourg but come on.

Great point daca, our president is a muppet ready to throw his country under the bus, hence the 5% approval rating.
04-05-2017 , 11:16 AM
Again and this argument is absolutely indestructible

Problems are worldwide, the bigger we are the stronger we are, if we need something to have a brighter future it's more european laws and less national laws.

If you complain about Europe, you must focus on european elections to fix what's wrong in those institutions, not voting for a frexitard

Getting out of NATO and Europe is not patriotism, it's nationalism

the eu is great though. you dont have to quit it. just elect someone that doesnt think austerity is a great idea in the middle of a massive recession.

also fix your unemployment and stop blaming everyone else for it.

Bro you are absolutely out of your mind, i'm not willing to go through faceless dictatorship to go bust some russian or chinese balls.

Switzerland is alone and seems to be doing fine.

Asselineau was hardly unique in arguing, in effect, for a renegotiation of European treaties. He's the only one who would do it via an immediate Article 50, but he's certainly not the only one for whom that's on the table as an eventuality. His claim to uniqueness is mostly a red herring, but I can understand prefering his version of a different vision for the France - EU relationship. I certainly don't share it, though.

Switzerland is one of the shadiest country in the world

This country is hosting the money of all the dictators and their family, Bin Laden, Ben Ali ...

They **** the entire world with their underground finance, they stole the jews during war, they helped nazis getting their money to south america

They are greedy as ****

(I'm talking about the whole swiss financial system and history, not swiss people obv)

Of course Switzerland is wonderful for swiss people, they have a ****load of money, but for someone attached to "les droits de l'homme" you shouldn't take example on switzerland

seriously though. they follow eu rules because they're afraid of what will happen if they're not members of the single market.

so they'll get some idea. the eu will ask them if they really thought it through. and they'll go "nah, you're right. never mind".
