Both Coulter and Ingraham are in their mid 50's never married.

During an era everyone who isn't bat**** crazy got married by what 30 at the latest?

At least Ingraham has done one useful thing in her life then.

May have even been 6-3. Gorsuch (I know right?) actually wrote his own dissent and basically opposed the ruling because it did not go for enough in rectifying some past rulings that weakened privacy.

Overall a very surprising ruling. Every time I see a ruling though I just get reminded what a miserable human Thomas is.

President Trump has a 45% approval rating in the latest Gallup poll, the highest since late January, but it's around the same percentage that past presidents had going into a midterm election in which they lost dozens of seats.
yikes.

Unfortunately, the country is massively gerrymandered to favor the GOP. Probably won't lose dozens of seats.

I also assume those are dozens of seats not just in Congress but in state elections as well, right?

Cliffs on the privacy ruling?

Michelle Wolf's Netflix show is apparently really inconsistent. Even within the episode it goes from really good to meh.

Like the beginning of the last episode was solid. The ending was odd.

Good: Hannibal Burress was a guest.
Bad: He was 10000 times funnier than Michelle.

Even Michelle was impressed.

Almost made me think that he'd be a better host. I mean he's got a lot of experience co-hosting The Eric Andre Show.

To be fair, Hannibal Burress is a national treasure and will upstage anyone.

I'm enjoying the show. It's not must-see TV but I usually get a few lols out of it.

Her targets are correct, and she usually has good points (don't book Trump stooges then feign outrage when they go full ******), the problem is that her jokes just aren't funny.
06-23-2018 , 02:02 PM
I dig it, and going beyond what dth said, she has the most accurate targets of anyone doing this right now.

I was never that impressed with Robert Gibbs, but he served honorably and now gets to enjoy his position as "vice president and global chief communications officer" for McDonald's. Those checks definitely cash.

Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be lucky if they get a job as a spokesperson for a single McDonalds franchise location. ("Try our new McDouble, all the meat, double the cheese, only $1.49!") I think Spicer is coasting on the fumes of paid gigs for despots and doubt he'd get past the initial security desk at any Fortune 500. It would be a shame if Spicy eventually turns up in a text box on page 11 of the local paper, another unfortunate victim of autoerotic asphyxiation. Thank you for your service, Sean.

What's crazy is he's only 35. I thought he was much older given how good he was at comedy...and his appearance.

She's one of those comedians where I know where the jokes are but they don't get a Hannibal Buress response from me.

Oddly enough, I liked her HBO special 'Nice Lady'. I mean, I don't like most stand-up comedians and I sat through her entire show. So good on her.

You do realize Spicy already got invited to be a guest fellow at Harvard, right? Sanders will be on Fox or CNN the day after she leaves.

It's some BS program at Harvard. Chelsea Manning was also invited. They just have a desk/office and scholars can ask them about stuff.

How did you remember her invitation but not her immediate dis-invitation as the takeaway from the Spicer/Manning thing? Jesus christ.

I don't care that she was disinvited. That both Spicer and Manning we're invited shows that there's no other criterion than "has appeared in the news" and the "hounor" is up there with Harvard degrees for one-week executive courses people put on their LinkedIn to inform people like me that I should avoid working them.
06-23-2018 , 07:36 PM
People and the media not bothering to learn the difference between Harvard fellows, a hugely prestigious actual academic job and the Kennedy schools BS guest fellow program is always tilting.

This is a pretty bad hot take my dude.

Chelsea Manning, whatever you think of her, had some unique life experiences and decisions that significantly affected our country.

Spicy was just a lying word diarrhea outlet for daddy. He has no actual relevance to anything. 20 years from now all people will remember of him is Melissa McCarthy on SNL.

Equating the two as having equal academic value is absurd.
