All the most sensitive stuff in legal cases is sent over email all the time. I think it's fine via standard pipes, maybe not on an open wifi.

Though, on second thought, your issue is likely sharing your info and such with the person getting the loan. You can ***** at the person who sent and ask them to explain the bank's policy on sharing guarantor info. They may have a decent answer or they may not. You best case scenario would be getting them fired, which is probably a dick thing to do.

Just sending a nasty email and asking them to explain themselves is more than enough to teach the lesson.

It takes either extreme ignorance or extreme sexism to do this, in the greater Bay Area no less, after everything that's been going on over the past year.
