So clearly ultramarathons are not simply "more of the same".
Your body switches to fat burning at around 20 miles.

This whole notion regarding worrying about the impact of some scientific finding about some genetic racial differences is not worth discussing. Not when the possible differences are clearly small or non existent and the nature of racism has changed.

No non racist is going to become a racist if it is shown that there are slight differences at the tail of a distribution. And very few racists are pinning their ideology on the existence of those small differences either. Nowadays their thing is "culture".

Black athlete's vertical jump is probably slightly higher than whites. And if they are African Americans they are probably slightly LESS likely to be great marathon runners (because of fast twitch muscle fibers.) But thinking that people in this day in age are extrapolating from stuff like that to justify their racism is in my opinion (with few exceptions) barking up the wrong tree.

Not only does it happen, it’s happening right here in 2p2. It’s the whole reason this conversation got started in the first place.

I can see why Georgia Rep Jason Spencer didn't want this to air

Luckily for this guy his career was already pretty much dead.
07-23-2018 , 11:08 AM
well he's a physician's assistant and could have probably gotten some sort of work doing that. I would imagine it would be pretty difficult to get a job doing that after that clip. I mean it would probably be hard to get a job at Arby's after that.

The White House seems like a perfect landing spot for him to rebuild his career and image.

So obviously that guy is an irredeemable sack of human garbage but I always wonder what happens to folks like this? Like this is never ever ever going to go away for this guy. Will he ever be able to work again? How could he ever recover from this humiliation? What's the appropriate punishment for this sort of idiocy?

In today's society I think that this is the best advice anyone can offer Jason Spencer:

Richard Spencer is all "just to be clear guys, there's no relation"

I've got nothing against his work, but if Sacha Baron Cohen was all that good at his job we would have gamed a cabinet level position by now.

People are aware that deplorables are no longer the silent majority, right? They're the exceedingly loud minority with a majority of political seats.

The silent majority is comprised of people who aren't represented by deplorables and the Democratic establishment. The ones that saw both candidates in 2016 and either didn't vote or voted for Clinton and felt disgusted while doing so.

Real wages have been falling in line with union membership decline for 30+ years now. Missouri is falling behind in the race to the bottom. We need to catch up!

It's liberals who always play the victim card

Georgia lawmaker: Sacha Baron Cohen took advantage of my paralyzing fear to embarrass me

Quote:
“In 2017 I received countless death threats in connection with my introduction of legislation involving the wearing of masks. The threats escalated to the point that my wife received threatening phone calls concerning her and my children. I was very afraid for my safety and the safety of my entire family.

"Then, on June 14th, a gunman opened fire at members of Congress on a baseball field. I knew people on that field. Now, the fears I already had became more intensified as the reality of my family being targeted by a similar, deranged, would-be assassin became even more possible. I was in such a poor state of mind that my wife and I also undertook marriage counseling with a licensed therapist during this time.

"Sacha Baron Cohen and his associates took advantage of my paralyzing fear that my family would be attacked. In posing as an Israeli Agent, he pretended to offer self-defense exercises. As uncomfortable as I was to participate, I agreed to, understanding that these ‘techniques’ were meant to help me and others fend off what I believed was an inevitable attack.
That this random conservative Georgia state legislator lived in fear of his ****ing shadow because of Steve Scalise getting shot might say something about gun violence in America

To The Iron Sheik: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN BROTHER OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. THE HULKSTER WILL NO LONGER BE A JABRONI THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!
