Yeah, I was at a lake all day in Canada with my family. Swimming, picnic, sand castles...the whole deal. Pulling out I see a bumper sticker that said “Trump for Prime Minister” and then came home to 4 pages of posts in the Trump forum. We used to be able to have nice things.

So far this year he's won two super high rollers worth ~$5 million each and probably cashed for $15 million total, plus another few million last year.

Smart enough that he just plays dumb? Could be, I guess. But I left off the part where he implied his new found knowledge of gto would let him exploit his opponents when they play that way.

If you've ever listened to his commentary you'd see that he knows what he's talking about. He's not at the level of the top pros, but he's still a favorite in (nearly) every tourney he plays.

Combined with people continually taking shots at him cause of his image it's a pretty profitable formula.

I haven't paid much attention to poker at all in like 8 years. I can't fully judge Hellmuth's commentary but some is obvious and some seems silly. If he's putting on an act he's great at never breaking character. I don't doubt he's extremely good at tournament play. He's been around a long time and been amazingly successful.

Bonomo biggest asset seems to be his lack of leaks. He's agressive but rarely get out of line and doesn't seem too caught up in the wine, woman, and other poker sideshows. Kind of a Terminator. $25M year is pretty damn impressive.
