America, we need to talk about showers. Why are your showers, even in nice places, so ****ing WOAT?

Sins include but are not limited to:

- Only providing a means to regulate the temperature, not the flow rate. Often it's just either on or off. This is like buying a vehicle and finding out it only has two modes, stationary and 30 mph.

- That valve gadget that switches the water between bath and shower. Half the time it doesn't work properly. It would not kill you to just put in a second set of taps like any other first world country.

Needed is a shower Manhattan project, or at least some fact finding missions to places that have this sorted out. You guys are better than this, I know we can fix it.

I'm not at all surprised; Far Side has always had mad love from the scientific community. If you'd walked through any university science department from 1980-2000 it's a guarantee you'd see at least one Gary Larson comic posted on someone's door. Nowadays kxcd has filled this role.

I just did a high end bathroom remodel that included a thermostatic shower valve with multiple shower heads. It was ridiculously ****ing expensive.

I'm your standard poker degen that always has a lot of cash on me. Never used my card for anything other than online purchases. I don't even remember the pin. Run good though and have never lost my wallet.
