Then double lol @ Ron Paul for being like 'yeah, that cartoon adequately expresses my views on this topic.'

Ok yeah.

Yeah we should be a little suspicious because a normal Ben Garrison cartoon would have a dozen thought bubbles and indecipherable labels. I can buy Garrison is being smeared here and is being portrayed as some sort of Super Saiyan Racist instead of a normal, pedestrian Saiyan Racist.

I'm getting too cynical. When I first heard about this, I couldn't help but think "they're dead."

Minor derail: Internet trolls at some point realized Ben Garrison is very easily trolled online, so a whole cottage industry of fake Garrison cartoons was created. The joke is that it usually only takes minor edits to make them explicitly anti-Semetic and often it’s hard to tell the real thing from a fake. You can google “trolling Ben Garrison” for some lolz.

Anyway, back to LOOOOOOOOOL Ron Paul. So racist even Ben Garrison is like “Not cool, bro.”

jfc that cartoon, not surprised Ron BUY BITCOIN Paul tweeted it, but also totally assumed it was a legit Garrison cartoon at first

Who among us hasn't mistakenly tweeted incredibly racist pop art? Ron Paul can't be responsible for everything someone might ghost tweet on his feed.

DOCTOR Ron Paul: "hey intern, let's take to Twitter and really let Cultural Marxism have it"

Intern: "how about a Ben Garrison cartoon?"

DOCTOR Ron Paul: "Too tame"

Intern: "what about a Ben Garrison cartoon, but modified by 4chan white supremacists to be extremely racist?"

DOCTOR Ron Paul: "Now we're talking"

some brief highlights from the Ron Paul Racism Hall of Fame:

Quote:
An October 1990 edition of the Political Report ridicules black activists, led by Al Sharpton, for demonstrating at the Statue of Liberty in favor of renaming New York City after Martin Luther King. The newsletter suggests that “Welfaria,” “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” “Dirtburg,”and “Lazyopolis ” would be better alternatives—and says, “Next time, hold that demonstration at a food stamp bureau or a crack house.”
source

Quote:
Paul also defended his claim, made in the same 1992 newsletter that “we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in [Washington, DC] are semi-criminal or entirely criminal” Paul told the Dallas Morning News the statistic was an “assumption” you can gather from published studies.

One of the other ways in which Ron Paul foreshadowed Trump is the intersection of racism and low rent political grifts. Both use racism as catnip to ensnare dumb olds, desperate sad sacks on the internet, and whoever else into reflexive right wing political positions that empower them and then feedback into the scam newsletter and hat industries or whatever these guys are peddling at the time.

Everything about the Trump phenomenon was available to see in plain sight in the Ron Paul RELOVEUTION.

It's also vital to not forget the third titan of this racist grifter association, who I'm going to put in spoiler tags so as to not take away from the other thread...

Trump’s “genius” was that he dispensed with all the “States Rights!” and “Audit the Fed!” gobbledegook to no one really cared about and focused in on the racial grievances and conspiracy theories that are what really energized the base. Trumpism is like a refined freebase version of the Ron Paul experience. Plus you don’t have to waste time reading Ayn Rand or watch two-hour youtubes to get your fix.

That doesn't say much about Garrison.

At the same time, I don't recall Garrison being overtly racist in his cartoons (to be fair I've only see ones posted on 2p2). Maybe the way he draws people like Obama is racist but most of the cartoons I've seen focus on alt-right conspiracy theories and making Trump look like an adonis.

Yeah with Ron Paul it was obvious he was in it for the grift and the marks were in it for the racism, but he dutifully railed against the Fed and paid lip service to ending the drug war and limiting foreign adventures.

Trump did away with all that, and just went full racist from the start. He doesn't even pretend to care about anything else. As always, HE IS THE BASE.

Paul's one exception to libertarian principals was being anti immigration.

Yes, maybe it is. He's wasn't very kind with Michelle either.

Yeah, stories have been coming out of Denmark for awhile that make it sound like sputnik and his minority of Swedish racists moved south to become the majority there

Those Thai soccer kids are in remarkable shape. They didn't even know exactly how long they'd been there. BBC has video a video clip as they talk to a UK diver here:

Poland depresses the **** out of me. Here's a country that was nearly wiped from existence by the same ****ed up ideology they're now enthusiastically embracing. I just cannot wrap my mind around it.

Poland is a step closer to Russia than America is.

But that is the ultimate goal of the current power base: to become Russia.

Depends on what you mean by “overt” but a lot of his cartoons are very clearly rooted in old-timely anti-Semetic tropes about (((Soros))), the (((Rothschilds))), and other (((international bankers))) secretly controlling the financial world. He doesn’t explicitly say “The Jews!” but it’s clear what he’s doing.

Overt in this case meaning something that is visible to everybody regardless of political alignment.

But yeah bigotry is clearly present in Garrison though I regard racism as a form of bigotry.
