Kinda late to the party, but all the #GirlPower tweeting around game of thrones seems pretty bad. I mean, wow, finally, girls get to run the show and they... do the exact same dumb **** the men did, ruin the kingdom and start a bunch of needless wars over petty beefs! **** yeah feminism!

On May 15, 2017 General Sessions Judge Sam Benningfield signed a standing order that allows inmates to receive 30 days credit toward jail time if they undergo a birth control procedure.

Women who volunteer to participate in the program are given a free Nexplanon implant in their arm, the implant helps prevent pregnancies for up to four years. Men who volunteer to participate are given a vasectomy, free of charge, by the Tennessee Department of Health.

County officials said that since the program began a few months ago 32 women have gotten the Nexplananon implant and 38 men were waiting to have the vasectomy procedure performed.

Judge Benningfield told NewsChannel 5 that he was trying to break a vicious cycle of repeat offenders who constantly come into his courtroom on drug related charges, subsequently can’t afford child support and have trouble finding jobs.

I'm not 32% sure that Donald knows any history at all like that. It's almost impossible he does. But, if the one historical thing he happens to have any detailed knowledge of is related to fan fiction about the Nazis conquering the world (in this case I guess if Operation Barbarosa were successful), then it's still more than just dumb.

Too bad Trump didn't get like 2 more minutes to ramble or he'd have praised Napoleon for inventing that delicious kind of ice cream with chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla all in one carton.

I'm not the person who brings incivility into the table, chezlaw, you're constantly trolling, lying, and being a disgusting ****ty racist and misognyist.

That article doesn't say "don't swear".

I'd LOVE to be nice to you, chez, but you gotta meet me halfway and give me one ****ing reason.

We need to get Trump vs Andy Richter on Celebrity Jeopardy! somehow

Also how can anyone be surprised?

Trump's rambling nonsense about history reminded me of this anecdote. America can't say we weren't warned:

http://www.esquire.com/news-politics...iver-of-blood/

One of Trump's golf courses notoriously contains a monument to a fictional Civil War battle that never happened, declaring a nearby river to be a "River of Blood" despite the fact no historian can identify a Civil War battle having happened within 15 miles of the hotel.

Like everything Trump, sometimes the most astounding bull**** never gets proper attention.

Quote:
"That was a prime site for river crossings," Mr. Trump said. "So, if people are crossing the river, and you happen to be in a civil war, I would say that people were shot — a lot of them."

"How would they know that?" Mr. Trump asked when told that local historians had called his plaque a fiction. "Were they there?"
Quote:
Mr. Trump repeatedly said that "numerous historians" had told him that the golf club site was known as the River of Blood. But he said he did not remember their names. Then he said the historians had spoken not to him but to "my people." But he refused to identify any underlings who might still possess the historians' names.

"Write your story the way you want to write it," Mr. Trump said finally, when pressed unsuccessfully for anything that could corroborate his claim. "You don't have to talk to anybody. It doesn't make any difference. But many people were shot. It makes sense."

Simply amazing.

The ONE criticism of Trump that had any effect on his behavior was complaining about his swearing. I'm trying to figure out what that says of these people, but can't get it quite right. I know it's not good though.

It's the wrong priorities. Reacting to "Grab 'em by the pussy" in a way that suggested the problem was he didn't say "vagina".

idunno it feels very trumpian. it's one of the things trump does a lot. he hears something sensible and the repeats a twisted version of it.

like the transparent wall to avoid people getting hit in the head with drugs. it's right that border guards and so on want a barrier with bars so they're able to see through it and people cant just sneak up on the other side of it. and trump has obviously been told that and then repeated a hilarious bizarro version of it.

here it's one of those things the history channel or whatever version of the war talks about. how some of the generals wanted to drive on moscow but hitler sent troops elsewhere and then changed his mind but it was too late. and that the germans were aware of napoleon and maybe that was why he did it.

moscow makes (some) sense in the context of "he could have walked in" too.

I'm very pleased to hear you finally supporting civility even if you're still in full <cough> 'extrapolating' mode.

Small steps.

It wasn't about ****ing swearing of course.

I'm struggling to believe you agree with that but I genuinely hope you do even if it's deep down.

Apologetics for racists are not "getting along."
