Cortez should just call this the "Professional Athlete and Hollywood Celebrity Tax" to ease the minds of white folk.

i don't like flying, plus being 6'6"and 300lbs means its uncomfortable as **** and i'm just cramped the whole time unless i get first class. i'd rather just rent a car and drive over a day or so.. actually last week i did it straight from 5:30am or so est, to 12:30am central.

i understand i'm weird, but i like the driving.

LAX has been such a nightmare lately I'd rather drive if anything under 10 hours. Also some of us like driving just to sort our heads out. So yeah I get it.

So there was a Nazi rally at St Kilda Beach in Melbourne today. Got a couple hundred or so. In attendance was Senator Fraser Anning. Senator Anning is... how can I put this? I could talk about how he made a speech about immigration which included saying that we needed a "final solution" to the problem, then subsequently claiming not to know that that phrase was associated with the Holocaust. But I think there's a better way of getting across what Anning is like. You remember Bob Katter, that guy who made the completely insane speech about same sex marriage and crocodiles, or something? Made it onto some US TV shows.

Well, THAT GUY threw Anning - his party's only other MP - out of the party for being too much of a lunatic.

Thinking about a comedy special called "Triggered" that Netflix lists under "Political Comedy" and isn't really political at all. I find the prospect intriguing and daunting, like the possibility of some body-hopping Spectre of Bad Posts haunting a message board.

Did you see that special? On a scale of 1 being what's the deal with airplane peanuts and 10 being Michelle Wolf's correspondents' dinner bit that special is maybe like a 3 or 4. He doesn't talk about actual politics much at all, very very briefly about Trump. He talks about stuff that touches politics a bit more. Is his Caitlin Jenner bit political? Or is it pop cultural? Is making fun of his religious friends he has to have because their kids are friends with his daughter religious, cultural, or political? It's both, of course. But I certainly didn't watch that special and think "oh this is political comedy".

I drive 8hrs and back to the East coast once or twice a year. Usually listen to books on tape and it's a pretty chill experience.
