My brother lives in NJ and I never know if I'm supposed to tip the gasser. It's awkward.

Georgia ****ing loooooooves arresting black people for the tiniest amount of weed, an ounce for 70 people is ~.4 grams each, gotta crack down.

Ridiculous.

I'm no psychologist, but playing one on the internet, my thinking (lately anyway) is that negative thoughts are self-reinforcing. Dwelling on such things makes for more robust neural pathways and then despite being harmful overall you find those thought patterns comforting in the moment. It may not be pleasant, but compulsive or attractive like a pressing on a sore tooth.

So, my advice is to refrain from thinking about your imaginary friend as much as possible if you think it's making you unhappy. Maybe try thinking some positive things even if it seems fake. And try not to think about the past or future much. They don't even exist.

I hope you got/get paid. Rich subprime dude sounds like the ripping off contractors type. See Donald Trump.

Manchester, NH (NH's largest city) inaugurated it's first female mayor today (Dem). She beat an incumbent Republican.

Of course, I know he is gay. That's not what i'm implying. Forget it.

edit: also the reason i don't come out and say my secret theory is because i don't KNOW that it is true and don't want to go on a witch hunt of some business guy who i do not know is guilty of anything.

Interesting 45-page pdf article (pdf link just above title) by Charlie Munger on "The Psychology of Human Misjudgment". https://www.hb.org/the-psychology-of...rles-t-munger/

Munger graduated from Caltech and Harvard Law School, is Warren Buffet's business partner, a multi-billionaire, and founded one of the top law firms in the US. He's folksy and irascible and certainly someone whose views are worth considering. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Munger

I was on the project as a sub in two different capacities, once as the owner of the company that framed it, and later doing ad-hoc punch work when I was project manager for another job by the same design/build firm. Checks cleared just fine, but the company did end up getting burned later for reasons I never bothered to understand.

With the latest nuke war tweet, I'd like to vote for anybody in the Trump administration that doesn't get access to the presidential bunker.
