Name dropping doesn't seem to really help here that much, like the guy who met Taylor swift or the guy who worked with mat boomer and got crickets. That's why I reserve all my name dropping for Pokémon tcg forums.

My favorite comment is the guy who is IN THE ****ING ARMY and claims he "almost died" the one time he tried to pump his own gas.

I hope you realize a lot of those posts are sarcastic.

I haven't read the link there, but I lived in OR for five years, the argument about pumping was common and it was always about the jobs and never about how hard it is to pump gas.

I was wondering about this. There's no way you can have billions, think you're changing the world, and not sink into Roman orgies at some point.

Quote:
About once a month, on a Friday or Saturday night, the Silicon Valley Technorati gather for a drug-heavy, sex-heavy party. Sometimes the venue is an epic mansion in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights; sometimes it’s a lavish home in the foothills of Atherton or Hillsborough. On special occasions, the guests will travel north to someone’s château in Napa Valley or to a private beachfront property in Malibu or to a boat off the coast of Ibiza, and the bacchanal will last an entire weekend. The places change, but many of the players and the purpose remain the same.

The stories I’ve been told by nearly two dozen people who have attended these events or have intimate knowledge of them are remarkable in a number of ways. Many participants don’t seem the least bit embarrassed, much less ashamed. On the contrary, they speak proudly about how they’re overturning traditions and paradigms in their private lives, just as they do in the technology world they rule. Like Julian Assange denouncing the nation-state, industry hotshots speak of these activities in a tone that is at once self-congratulatory and dismissive of criticism. Their behavior at these high-end parties is an extension of the progressiveness and open-mindedness—the audacity, if you will—that make founders think they can change the world. And they believe that their entitlement to disrupt doesn’t stop at technology; it extends to society as well. Few participants, however, have been willing to describe these scenes to me without a guarantee of anonymity.
Oddly all this 'disrupting' of stifling Christian morality ends up looking like the ideal male fantasy with a lot of exploitation of women. The Hippies already tried that in the 60's and it didn't end up so well.

What happens if Trump dies soon? I could definitely see some celebratory parades, some nazis and some Antifa. Nothing huge, but Berkeley, Portland and select locations.

I recently had a really bone chilling conversation with super bryce, he's an imaginary friend who is basically a successful person version of me. The entire conversation was him complimenting me and talking about how I'm really funny , he was going hardcore passive aggressive. Then at the end he tapped me on the shoulder and told me the best is yet to come for you with a super fake look of concern and then he vanished. **** that guy.

I know microbet is never passive aggressive but since he reads a lot of newspapers and is old and wise maybe he could shed some light on this situation because like wow worst imaginary friend ever.

I don't think he'll die. It would cause a lot of chaos .

Bye, Felicia. I'm sure Romney will vote the same, but it will sting the Orange One's ego, so that's something, I guess.

From 2007:

Billionaire sought secret lair for sex, drugs, complaint says

http://www.latimes.com/business/la-f...l18-story.html

Quote:
Flush with wealth from Broadcom Corp.'s 1998 public stock offering, computer chip magnate Henry T. Nicholas III made a few additions to his equestrian estate in Laguna Hills: hidden doors and secret levers, an underground grotto, tunnels and a 2,000-square-foot sports bar he called "Nick's Cafe."

But there was more, according to a claim made in court documents: plans for a "secret and convenient lair" with hidden entries for Nicholas to indulge his "manic obsession with prostitutes" and "addiction to cocaine and Ecstasy."

I did a bunch of work on a new 8 figure house for some scumbag who made all his money on subprime mortgages pre-crash. After all the main work was completed we quietly finished out a windowless basement room that could only be accessed under the pool area, surrounded by a bunch of service equipment, and behind a nondescript but unusually secure steel door. "Exercise room", they said.

When I read the news articles over this for some reason I never picked up that they arrested everyone because of less of an once of weed total. For whatever reason, I thought people were getting arrested for less than an ounce each and not a "if no one claims this I'm punishing everyone" dad scenario.
