I've showed this to some friends and they insist it's a pshop.

Totally not a shop- took it myself on 7/3/08 at about 2:30 PM in NE Florida at a Staples parking lot, 100% unaltered.

I must be missing something. I know this guy. He is from North Carolina (the "middle east" of our country.) He always loved living in North Carolina, but due to a recent divorce was forced to move in with his parents in Florida. He just loves the middle eastern part of our country and wants Floridians to know.

(FWIW, I've never heard North Carolina refered to as being the "Mid East" or the "Middle East". Heard "Mid Atlantic" and "Middle Atlantic" plenty of times, tho)

I don't see what the big deal is. Assuming that the owner of the car is an Arab who likes Obama, that doesn't prove or mean anything about the candidates at all.

Besides, who would be wacky enough to drive around with MIDEAST on their license plate in the South? Either the plate, your tires, or you would be shot by the time you got out of the parking lot.

I always suspected Obama was a crypto-Muslim; this thread proves it! I would take this photo, put it in an email and send it to everyone you know. Claim the car belongs to a Bin Laden. Maybe not Osama, but one of the other ones. It may or may not be true, but just in case it is, that detail should be included in the email.
