Right, so I believe the timeline is:
-Freddie Gray arrested
-Freddie Gray placed in van
-Van makes stop that went unreported by officers but was caught on CCTV <--Where I believe fatal injury took place, brakes were slammed on, his body went flying forward in back of van
-Van makes stop to pick up other perp
-Other perp hears banging sounds from Freddie Gray <--Where I believe are caused by convulsions from a seriously (fatally) injured Freddie Gray.
The term "rough ride" doesn't mean that the entirety of the trip was rough. It probably was smooth once the second perp was loaded, but the point is, the unreported stop took place prior to the second perp being loaded into the van.
The fact that this stop was (reportedly) not reported by any of the officers who have given statements means that they either all forgot about this stop, or they decided to all lie. And if the latter, then why? Probably because it was a quick stop done to rough up Freddie Gray.
What are the chances that the van has an onboard computer that will have recorded the telemetry of that unreported stop? I know nothing about what type of information gets logged on vehicles these days.
