Scumbag South Carolina cop shoots fleeing suspect in the back eight times. Possibly places an object near the body. All caught on video.

According to an incident report, officers heard Slager say over the radio that he had deployed his Taser and "seconds later" he said "Shots fired and the subject is down. He took my Taser."

Attorney David Aylor released a statement Monday that reiterated the police report.

“This is a very tragic event for all of the families," Aylor said. "I believe once the community hears all the facts of this shooting, they'll have a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding this investigation. Officer Slager believes he followed all the proper procedures and policies of the North Charleston Police Department.”

The attorney stepped down once the video came out, fwiw.

Looks like maybe it's his taser he's dropping by the body? going with a "he reached for my taser" defense and didn't see the witness, possibly.

Def. a taser.

Yeah, planting evidence next to the body is just amazing. I can't imagine how this cop could possibly beat a murder charge.

That's not even the amazing part. He did it so casually and with a black cop standing next to him. Not saying he's done it before, but it's definitely not the move of a nervous "Oh ****, I'm in trouble." cop either. He knew handcuff this guy and get the taser over next to him like it was me saying "Get milk for my cereal."

****ing outrageous. i hope this dickhead gets the chair.

another thing that need to be brought up. so... what's been helping inform the public as to how out of control cops are? obv video. why the **** are states trying to suppress citizens rights to film cops? obv fascist ***********.

saw this on facebook - this is so gross its ridiculous.

makes you wonder what the police statement would've been if it wasn't recorded.

the answer to that is painfully obvious.

One could therefore deduce that your first sentence is erroneous.

Surprised he didn't sprinkle crack on him.

Also, hats off to the guy who took the video. I don't think I would have the balls to hang around and video a cop right after I witnessed him commit a murder.

What's the probability this cop walks? Greater than 75%?

I keep wondering how many more of these type incidents will occur until we have the straw that breaks the camel's back? I recall April 4, 1968 and the night Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis. Literally within hours of the tragedy, while President Johnson was on national television pleading for calm, entire city blocks were going up in flames. Even the President was aware of the destruction - you could see the fires in Washington D.C. from the White House. When this kind of thing occurs, one has the eerie sense that we're sitting on a tinderbox that could explode at any moment.

0%. best case scenario he gets down to manslaughter, but even that i think is a stretch. that is a video of a murder, it's going to be hard to spin it into anything else.

The cop should probably just plea bargain to avoid the death penalty at this point.

I think you're far to optimistic.

After a suspect has been arrested and/or charged with a crime, during his first meeting with his attorney, the attorney will tell his client something along the lines of: "Only talk with me. Don't say anything to anybody else. Now, what have you told the cops?" At some point during this discussion the lawyer will advise his client that he must come totally clean - to him. He'll say something like: "As long as you tell me exactly what happened, as long as you tell me the truth, I can defend you. If you lie to me, all bets are off."

With Officer Slager's attorney promptly dropping his client, you have to wonder if what the attorney saw in the video differs markedly from what his client was telling him? Or it could be that the lawyer decided he wanted no part of the death threats that are bound to flow his way for agreeing to represent a killer cop. (Or maybe it's a combination of the two ...)

LOL. This is SC. Dude is like 50% getting off before the jury is even picked. You basically have to hope not a single person on the jury is thinking "Why did that N@gger run to begin with? He must be guilty of something. Cop was doing his job."
04-07-2015 , 11:55 PM
in all fairness, the perps 'demon mode' just isn't translating on video. but i'm sure this good whiteman was more than justified. it's a known fact that video's can't capture demons. if i was his defense attorney, i'd throw everything behind the 'demon defense'.

surely this good white cop can't just be a murderous *******.

does anyone believe that what happened to brown was much different? other than he turned around before being finished-off, or that wilson was likely justified in firing the first shot/shots (from his window).

i'm sure there is some ignorant ****, somewhere, who's justifying this.
04-07-2015 , 11:59 PM
i can't imagine this guy walks. no ****ing shot there will be that many ******ed racists on one jury, even in SC.

i could certainly see a hung jury and re-trial. with a couple of idiot racists holding out.

Maybe I'm optimistic, but I'm pretty sure this guy is getting nailed to the wall if he's caught planting a taser at the scene. The NYPD would get away with this kind of thing, but that's like a whole other planet.

That's true. Planting the taser on video is legit bad; I didn't think about that.
