javi banging on for like three pages and then having to be informed on the basics of what actually happened is a negs level effort.

How about we start with "killing people is ****ing bad and those people charged with protecting and defending us should to EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to avoid it" before we strain to justify somebody shooting somebody IN THE DAMN BACK".

The problem with knee jerk reactions is that they're typically based on a lack of information. A video of somebody being murdered is PRETTY PRETTY good information.

Since the whole “should/shouldn’t” approach doesn’t seem to be working out all that well, maybe we ought to think about switching to “must/mustn’t.”

lol javi, I wondered how this thread got to 5 pages overnight and then I saw his posts.

I guess it's a good thing that YouTube video wasn't played in Tennessee v. Garner or else the court would have correctly determined that ALL fleeing suspects pose a significant threat to both pursuing officers and the general public, amirite?

Fox News talking head reports planting weapons was standard procedure. It's a fact now.

All you need to know is that on the front page of FOX, the picture is of when the 2 guys are at their closest. You know, so it looks like a real confrontation where the cop's life was in danger and had to shoot.

As far as I can tell, it's not even on Drudge. Instead some photo and headline of Dick Chaney saying Obama is trying to destroy America is up.

While I'm not sure the cop in the Michael Brown case should have been indicted, I'm almost positive that the cop in the Tamir Rice case should be prosecuted. If there isn't an indictment in that case I'll be shocked and I'd expect total chaos.
wow i didn't know that tamir rice and mike brown were both strapped with suicide vests

looks like i made a huge mistake in not joining #teamwaitforallthefacts

I didn't realize he was aware of the witness. I'm a bit puzzled. After the murder and evidence planting, I'm surprised he didn't run after the witness and try to smash his phone. Or shoot him too and claim the two ganged up on him.

Was the witness on foot or bike? Was he black? What age?

The dash cam from the Lavall Hall killing is coming out today. 25yr old known schizophrenic has an episode, moms calls cops, cops kill 25yr old. Said he was "wielding" a broomstick and they "feared for their lives." Witnesses say he didn't have a broom.

how about the time the c*nts said "we don't have time for this, before shooting a mentally-ill in the head, right in front of his parents.

i've got a ton a rage toward cops. i'd pay 1k, right now, to whatever charity they wanted, if it meant i could fight one of these ****ing animals.

****ing savages. "we don't have time for this" and blows his ****ing brains out. c*nts.

The police chief basically just he was sickened by what he saw. This dude's going down for this like 99.9% of the time

I'm afraid to watch fox news today. You know someone there is going to make the police officer the victim.

There's still opportunity for them to circle the wagons, but it does look like the cops know that going against public opinion at this point isn't going to work. We'll see how the indictment is handled.

Yahoo reporting the murderer has been fired. Don't think they will circle the wagons for this guy.

Something along those lines.

I want to see a criminal offense along the line of perverting the course of justice.

Any bets on the cop's first defender?

1. Rush
2. Bill
3. Sean
4. Fox and Friends hosts (don't watch them or know their names)
5. someone in Congress
6. the field

His (next) attorney is the freest of money.

I think the combination of 8 shots, the image with the utterly safe distance between the two, moving the taser and the guy's boss snap burring him there's less risk of any sort of blue wall here. It's also very easy to paint him as a lone bad actor and make the other cops look good by coming down hard on him.

Kinda wish the video release was delayed a month or two just to see what would happen.

Justice is probably a little more important than your entertainment.

you are unbelievably clueless

actually i'm gonna rephrase. you're a racist simpleton and you know exactly what you're doing here. problem is, most everybody else itt is smarter than you

Did you listen to the audio? It starts with the tat tat tat noise of a taser. No words from the victim, and the first thing you hear the cop say is shots fired into the radio. No verbal commands from the cop at all.

Cold blooded murder.

This case is different from most recent high profile cases. There's no he said she said here. Honestly, I don't know how you explain 5 shots in the back even without a video. Even if he had actually taken the taser.
