Thank you for this input, bootlicker.

I agree with this assessment. Cops that are shooting and tazing are often doing so because they are giant cowards.

A civil disturbance between cops and several hundred protesters, a few injuries on both sides, after cops shot a guy. Cops say a weapon was recovered, a witness said he had a holster but no gun.

Who the **** wears a holster but no gun?

Another alleged eye witness account said the cops asked for a CCP, then opened fire when the guy reached.

Justine Damond was killed one year ago today. She is famous for illustrating that even if you are a 40-year-old white woman wearing pajamas, you can still be blown away by the police for no good reason. Apparently it can happen to anyone, so let’s be careful out there!

Is this your way of saying you tried to participate in the Youtube discussion, got clowned on, and ran away, not unlike this thread?

Video certainly seems like he was reaching for a gun. Without sound, can't tell why the stop escalated like that though
07-16-2018 , 01:29 PM
That doesn’t even fit with the thread, he certainly appears to be both armed and reaching for his gun.

Looks legit to me.

Oh, was that why? Because here I thought it was for melting down into this when your unwavering logic and ability to debate proved insufficient:

Sep 5th trial date set for Jason Van Dyke in the cold blooded murder of Laquan McDonald. This should be an open and shut case if ever there was one (and there have been plenty). If this guy gets off with anything less than voluntary manslaughter followed by maximum sentencing, then demonstrations need to be carried out nationwide not only for justice in shootings of unarmed non-whites, but a rigorous protest demand for a change in laws. Yeah, it's blatant racism. But it's the laws stupid. That's how they get away with it.

An old Shawn King article on the laws Lestat refers to.

Until that SCOTUS decision in the 80s, 20 states allowed cops to shoot fleeing suspects to "effect an arrest", dispensing completely with self defense. Shooting suspects who flinch wrong was apparently the compromise position.

Murder trial begins for former Dallas police officer who killed 15-year-old Jordan Edwards

Quote:
The 38-year-old Oliver, a former patrol officer in the suburb of Balch Springs, claims he fired to protect his partner. Police initially said the car in which the teen, his stepbrother and three friends were riding reversed “aggressively” toward the officers but later acknowledged that body camera video showed the opposite.
This is legitimately surprising: his partner testified against him?

Quote:
His partner testified Thursday that he had not felt he was in danger.
...
During his hour-long appearance on the stand, Officer Tyler Gross said he had used his gun to hit one of the car’s window, breaking the glass. Then he heard shots, turned and saw smoke coming from Oliver’s gun.

“I just wanted them to stop,” Gross said of the teens. He was not scared and did not feel the need to fire his own weapon: “I was not in fear at that point,” Gross testified.

I didn't even think it was possible to be banned from youtube comments. If you're banned from youtube comments it's time to rethink basically everything you've ever done.

Again the group think like a good sheep you're talking about here is people criticizing the police, right? Whereas you were supporting the police.

The way conservatives try to cast supplicating before fascism as like, a radical punk rock aesthetic is ****ing hilarious.

Steve, you cry because you're weak. Work on that ****, son.

The man was legally allowed.to have a firearm on his person.

And what's the point of that legal right if you're not allowed to unholster the thing?

I know this might seem like a gamma ray burst take but the actual 2nd amendment details the tyranny of the government. What's more tyrannical than a half dozen armed jackboots descending upon you whilst you're minding your business?

So, you're goddamned right he had that gun and he pulled it. And he should've been afforded the chance to say, "This is America, mother****er. This is America and I have a gun too, so should we talk like adults talk or see what happens when you continually treat the citizenry like subservient children?"

Paradoxically this is both a strong anti-and-pro-gun point but aside from those, though businessdude and Steve are long past gone, in general people need to think on what it says about 2nd-class groups when black people are denied constitutional rights, no matter stupid those rights may seem.

Ironically I'm way more pro-police and authoritarian than you're average dirtbag leftist, in the sense that in a perfect world good government is a righteous tool of the people and, in turn, the police are a tool of that tool, so in that frame it's merely logical and sensible. But, like, we're not in that perfect world yet and out here I'll give any anti-police dude a workout.

What's that, the cops were scared for their lives? Good. If they weren't then somebody wasn't doing their ****ing job.
