It's just a jumble of non sense "common sense" phrases unconnected to any policy. Pence's "personal responsibility in health care" phrasing as an example.

It's only logical.

Who is actually in favor of the healthcare bill, besides rich people and Republicans who want to say the words "We repealed Obamacare"?

lib-hating idiots who will be negatively impacted by its passing

House bill had 17% support, so even half of the deplorables are against it. This legislation is the biggest middle finger to a party's voters possibly ever.

Seems like these CBO scores are generous if anything.

As costs continue to rise, more employers will stop offering plans and those people will be pushed onto the individual market where they won't be able to afford insurance as well.

If healthcare cost inflation continues to go up 7-8% a year for the next 10 years then this seems like a no brainer.

Are they people who sincerely think that this bill will not pass?
06-26-2017 , 06:57 PM
How soon after the bill becomes law will it have killed more Americans than radical islamic terrorism has in total?

Not to mention the changes they made to manipulate the CBO score.

I give it 3 months after the big cuts kick in. So 3 years, 8 months...which is, well looky here, right after the next Presidential smooth transition of power Inauguration.

Collins is a no.

"I want to work w/ my GOP & Dem colleagues to fix the flaws in ACA. CBO analysis shows Senate bill won't do it. I will vote no on mtp. 1/3"

Rand, Heller and Collins is gg. It's good politics for GOP. Intentionally wreck Obamacare then run against it again in 2018 and 2020. They will just blame OBSTRUCTIONIST DEMOCRATS for not getting reform done.
06-26-2017 , 07:14 PM
They say that now but they'll come around when push comes to shove.
06-26-2017 , 07:23 PM
Rand is grandstanding per usual. He's always voting yes

Heller maybe not

No idea on the others
06-26-2017 , 07:25 PM
Collins and Heller seem very serious. Probably 3-5 others who are as well. Now sure about Rand.
06-26-2017 , 07:26 PM
I mean if Rand has such great ideas on healthcare he could write a bill.
06-26-2017 , 07:33 PM
Collins is as much a lock for "no" as it gets.

Very curious to see what Cruz does.
06-26-2017 , 08:00 PM
Collins/Heller are lock nos

Murkowski 50/50
Grifter Jr. is 25/75 no

rest are 99% to vote yes, don't believe their bull**** for a second
06-26-2017 , 08:00 PM
Only way Rand votes against this is if it's already dead without his vote. Also, lol @ John McCain. Maverick my ass
06-26-2017 , 08:01 PM
i'd say i'm 90% sure nothing passes this week. Maybe more. I really don't think Rand is ever going to vote for this or anything less "mean."
06-26-2017 , 08:33 PM
I think Collins, Heller, Murkowski all vote no. Then, if that happens, you'll have several GOP senators who would love to publicly vote not, but probably aren't willing to if their vote actually counts. I put Portman on this list. Either going to be 50-50 with a Pence tie breaker or something like 45-55.
