Okay this seems like good messaging?

"People will die"

nice to see a few republicans take a stand against this bill

ofc it's only because to them it's not harsh enough

"These cuts are blood money. People will die. Let's be very clear—Senate Republicans are paying for tax cuts for the wealthy with American lives.”

This is a good start.

Anyone who thinks this 3 person GOP opposition wasn't completely staged is nuts.

Rand Paul just sold his soul to the cameras a few minutes ago, claiming the bill is Obamacare-lite because it's loaded with entitlements.

Yeah, it's a sham. They'll toss on a few more draconian cuts and a billy or to so Heller can say it's a good bill and they'll all vote for it.

I fully believe they wish it was harsher and it was completely staged.

First thing rand paul did when the shooting happened was run to the cameras, he sold out to them a long time ago.

That's to entice states can dump their Medicaid patients into the the individual market, not a lifeline for those states who didn't get the Medicaid expansion.

This is good but because it is Warren 2/3 or so of the country will roll their eyes. Dems needs new blood leading the charge in the worst way possible.

This, plus as even Donald Trump knows, the last tenant to sell out before the building is scheduled for demolition gets the most $ for his hovel.

She's been a Senator for 3 years. She's been in public life for about 8.

Republicans will just find some minute thing about that new person, any person, and blow it up to cartoonish proportions and then we'll hear about how that person has to be replaced.

Recent election results. Also the complete inability of any of the Pelosi/Warren/Schumer hierarchy to actually accomplish anything. Besides that they are kicking ass!

Warren isn't in the Democratic senior leadership. She's only been there for 3 years. You can say that perhaps Pelosi and Schumer might need to be replaced, but that doesn't have much to do with the appropriateness of Warren and her message of economic populism. 9/10ths of Warren's negatives amount to "Pocahontas!"

To put another way, the two most influential Dems of the last 30 years or so were Clinton and Obama who were both young and relatively un-entrenched in the DC bull****. The Dems need to move towards finding their next Clinton and Obama and even if they fail will be no worse off. It is blantantly obvious the 65+ year old current "leaders" are a complete disaster.

Are you another one like Trump who insanely cheats to rig the game, then laughs at the losers for losing?

Congratulations for being equally as assholic as the biggest ass the world has ever known.

She has assumed the mantle of being a leader of the left wing voice. The only problem is she isn't effective and a lot of people hate her.

I guess I am too dumb to know what you are even refering to in this post tbh. I am far from laughing I am disgusted at the Dems in general and have been since far before the 2016 election. The fact they seem to be doubling down on the same bs that got them rolled by an incompetnent buffon is infuriating.

Nobody should be criticizing Dems for anything while this clown show is happening in GOP government. It's by far the worst we've ever seen.

Ya you are right. The organization who has the best chance to actually stop the clown show should get a complete pass for being completely incompenent at every level. It isn't directly the Dems fault we are in this mess but indirectly it is because we are here largely because of the incompentence of the DNC and the vast majority of the Dem leadership.
06-22-2017 , 03:40 PM
I wish dems stopped calling it trumpcare and made the whole republican party own this.

The point isn't we shouldn't criticize the dems, but there's no good reason to do it today, this bill is the focus till it passes or fails and any attention away from that (see trump tweet) is just an overload distraction.

I don't think the exact wording matters too much. People called it Obamacare but it was implicit that was a Democrat bill. There's just not a lot of things that sound good with the Republ- or Democr- roots.
06-22-2017 , 03:49 PM
Perpetually-troubled John McCain went from complaining about the secrecy behind the bill (yesterday) to saying (today) that he will vote for it next week.

Ummm...Russia?? GOP theft?? Dems are powerless against this nonsense and the ****ing **** of a President is using it to his advantage instead of protecting us. This phony government is a joke. You want SUPERDEMS to come along and save the day?

I mean this isn't just spin, this is putting something into orbit. It's just straight up lying. Hell, in fact, it's knowing what people were complaining about, and purposefully saying the opposite.
