The post office failed. Amtrak can't make money. The housing bubble burst. $1T in educational debt. Why do you lefties think this govt can run healthcare?

"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor"
BS. They snatched mine.

I've been on Medicare since 2008, thru my SSI.
When I had my anyeurism in 2010, my prior family Dr. was replaced,
because he was affiliated with a different HMO network than the hospital the ambulance sent me to.

So... my family Dr. went from a full MD, with a full understanding of the needs of those in the lower middle class and below, to a revolving door of residents at another clinic, all of them high-caste Indians with a deep dislike for Americans, and a great fondness for Obamacare, for reasons I cannot fathom.

And it's truly sad. In my housing project, 75%+ of my neighbors are untouchable-caste Indians, nicest, quietest people you could have
for neighbors. And they like me, I thinx. They've even culturally assimilated
to the point that they don't wash their clothes in the bathtub anymore.
[which was to me hilarious, because the apt. mgr. here is a fat white HUD bureaucrat-by Scranton standards-and also somewhat of an *******.]

The sickening part is that once their 3-year residency is up, those pussy-ass high-caste Indians can't GTFO of Scranton fast enough.

For those of u from Canada or yurop, TRUST ME-there is way too much corporate greed to allow any form of socialized medicine to thrive in the US.
And most Amurricans wish this wasn't true.

Putting aside that your story makes no sense, you are racist. And probably a massive hypocrite.

Tell me what makes government run healthcare work with 100 million people that wouldn't work with 300 million people?

We have the same amount of doctors per capita as Canada and more than Japan. Anyway, a doctor shortage is a problem regardless of the healthcare system, isn't it? Although I guess it is worse if poor people are allowed to see the doctor too...

Problem: not enough doctors
Solution: let poor people die.

Got it.

Poor people are not denied health care now. That has been covered over and over in this thread.

If that were true, then why would a doctor shortage be a reason to not have government-run healthcare?

(Obamacare is not government-run healthcare)

So there are enough doctors?
09-22-2013 , 02:14 PM
I think spike's story is like the ur-Obamacare-opposition story. No idea what's going on, blames Obamacare for a problem that existed before Obamacare, IS A ****ING LEECH ON MY TAXPAYER DOLLARS, casual racism

The poor should work many more hours, but doctors? Nah. LOL.

We seem to have enough doctors for the uninsured to go to the emergency room...

The simple facts here are that in the USA the wealthy elite have bought off all our politicians and therefore control the laws that govern our country.

So we have really crazy institutions like health insurance companies. They produce NOTHING. CEO's of these pencil pusher organizations skim millions out of our heath care. This goes on no where else in the world. It is easily changed by electing the right people.

Please use some critical thinking and ask yourself why people should get mega wealthy providing insurance for a need that everyone has have.

Get rid of the insurance. Medicare administrative costs are less than 2%. I can't accept any higher costs just to make small minority rich.

Medicare part E. Medicare for everyone who wants in.

Obamacare while keeps the insurance companies in power is at least a step in the right direction. Get smart people.

replace millions with hundreds of billions tho
09-22-2013 , 11:03 PM
And it's not easy to just "vote in the right people." The people who have the power spend absurd amounts of money to ensure they get to continue to control the government.

If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal ~ Michael Scott.

I guess, but if there were 70 Democrats in the Senate we would have single payer super quick.
