Are you kidding? Even IF I got caught, I would be the first case which ever surfaced, right? I could make the whole tour: hannity, daily show, letterman, frontline, 60 minutes, talk radio... Even if they send me to the can for a while, that still sounds like the american dream to me!

The only way your getting caught is that right after you vote you declare yourself to be an alien. Even then I doubt anybody cares.

I mean, it's a private vote, right? No paper trail? What are they gonna do, just randomly remove a vote from whichever candidate they choose to?

I have no idea if they have the ability to disqualify the ballot retroactively. When I wrote that post I was pondering how they would handle Dueces Ax after he admitted to the world he wasn't eligible to vote. I guess if he sat in the middle of the polling place demanding to be charged eventually he would be.

Someone would have to sue I would think. Then there would be a recount if it is thought that there were enough fraudulent votes that it might have affected the outcome. Once an election is certified by the secretary of state (see Bush Gore 2000) I don't think anything can be done legally.

I know my best buddy won't vote. I know he is registered to and where he is supossed to vote.

From what I understand, I just walk up there in november and say "hi I am mr. xxxx, could I have my ballot?" and get to vote? Sweet!
what country are you from?

FoxNews will be finding some case of ballot stuffing by a small town sheriff, then running their "Stealing Your Vote" special every week until the election.

You go to Pechanga casino to get a burger you have to show id with your players card, to use Moneygram or Western Union to pick up money you have to show id. You go to bank, you need id, or even to drive a car.

Voter id should be mandatory with something so valuable as voting. I believe you should have a retinal scan, a thumbprint, and they should post whether you voted or not in the newspaper and internet.

What if you missed voting one day, but you found out you voted on the internet?

Several trillion $ are stolen each year via voter fraud.
It is a scary thing to be on the same side of an argument as steelhouse but to find out that I might run into steelhouse at Pechanga Casino is truly frightening. I did a search hoping that there might be ANOTHER Pechanga Casino somewhere in the US but it doesn't look like there is.

Sup Mojo. Purging hundreds of thousands of minorities from the voter rolls: just good policy, ya?

Look up above. There's a poster named steelhouse. He makes weird posts, but that post may be his weirdest of all time. Ergo, your hijack was hardly a hijack.

Well what makes it pretty simple is the fact that everybody needs to get a national id when they turn 16 (crazy fascist intrusive country, right?)

So there is no need for voter registration. You even get a letter send to your home reminding you that an election is coming up. On election day you walk up to your local elementary school, show your id, get your ballot and they cross your name of their list.

2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.
Sounds awesome. Let's start taking away representation from these states that think "right to vote" means "right to vote only for people who have gotten government IDs"

How often are you required to update your ID? I assume you don't carry around an ID with a picture of you at age 16 your whole life.

It's valid for 6 years if you got your latest one before you turn 25 and after that 10 years. However, you have to get the adress changed when you move.

What's kinda funny is that our drivers licence doesn't expire as it's only valid if combined with the id card. Therefore a bunch of old ppl still carry their 50 year old licence which used to be a huge paper document and is just called "the rag"

You are an evil genius. We could sell it as a jobs bill. We could hire minorities (at minimum wage of course) to cross off their own names. It could take months or even years. The unemployment rate might even drop below 8%.

Feds putting a halt to this. Possible violation of federal election laws. Even some GOP election supervisors are refusing to comply it's so obviously bad.
