Wow a Republican bash fest. There isn't any other threads in this forum that already fill the bill so thanks for starting one because none have been started yet. Great and unique idea, long overdue.

The is wrong. The GOP has passed this type bill in the House and introduced one in the Senate that was quashed by the Dem leadership. It is seen by comprehensive reform advocates (mostly Dem but also guys like Jeb Bush) as harmful to the cause. The want the GOP to accept the sweet (more high skilled workers, greater boarder security) as well as the sour (amnesty).
