I'm getting pissed off watching Planet Earth. All the vegetarian animals keep letting their children get eaten, because they panic, freak out, and their children get lost or something. If only they stuck together like the Walrus against that Polar Bear.

When I got my 50" HDTV (after having a 1980ish 15 inch screen for all 20 years of my life) Planet Earth was one of the first things that we ever saw - it was incredible.

Speaking of whatever you're speaking of, when the snow-foxes or whatever attacked the little birds

I think these are identical to Colbert's picks, at least for the ones he bothered to pick. Last time he went 5 for 5.

If he gets supporting actress right, then he is officially a genius.
02-19-2009 , 10:28 AM
I don't think Colbert picked best director or supporting actress, but I may have missed it, since I wasn't really paying attention.

The horror. How can we trust any of the calculations on the level of arctic sea ice? I will not sleep soundly tonight.

Some guys argue on CNBC.

CUE DRUDGE

I saw it b4 it was on Drudge fwiw, I didn't think it was going to make the top headline on drudge.

Cliffnotes: The guy who reports from the floor at Chicago starts arguing and saying how the DOW keeps going down because they are rewarding incompetence. He starts yelling, the guy from New York calls him and the six traders around him "thugs" and he loses it!

The Chicago floor trader was Rick Santelli, and the New York guy was Steve Liesman. Santelli is pretty much the only sensible CNBC reporter and constantly ****s on the latest ham-handed government attempts to stabilize the financial system. Liesman never saw a boondoggle he didn't like. In this case, Santelli went off about the whole delinquent mortgage bailout fiasco, and Liesman spouted back nonsense about the market failing. Santelli handed him his ass. It was hilarious.

Apparently their are two big arguments, the one on Drudge right now was b4, I made a comment on a later argument which is is just as good on the entertainment scale..

Here's the one I saw.
