I think it was just a random guess. They keep putting up a "this stuff might be disturbing and we're just speculating" warning after every commercial.

They have the Dow all the way down to 2800, and Beck talks a lot about inflation, so I don't know how much thought was put into this.

p.s. I'm not much of a survivor either, but I do have a stockpile of Chef Boyardee that should get me a few weeks to figure something out.

Speaking of White House pets, did Obama's kids get that dog or what? Obama tore at America's heartstrings with stories about getting his kids a dog, but did they actually get the thing?
