This outrage over the NY Post cartoon is so ridiculous. I hate people. Presidents don't write bills, so how can it possibly be about Obama if the cops are saying "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus bill".

CPI just show's the effects of inflation, lucky for the Gov't it won't show inflation until it is far too late.

It's not fun cheering for the in-party. It's alot more fun being on the outside looking in since the government does so many stupid, attackable things. You think Rush likes defending Bush or attacking Obama more? That's why you should be a Libertarian since they'll never win anything.

"While the Internet has generated many positive changes in the way we communicate and do business, its limitless nature offers anonymity that has opened the door to criminals looking to harm innocent children," U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, a Texas Republican, said at a press conference on Thursday. "Keeping our children safe requires cooperation on the local, state, federal, and family level."

John Cornyn (paraphrased): "It has been 3 months. THREE ****ING MONTHS since ANYBODY has thought of the children in Washington. This bill is necessary to get our thinking of the children back on track. I am disgusted with how far we have fallen in Washington, and I'm NOT going to stand for not thinking of the children for one - more - minute. NOT ONE. You disgust my contributors. And you disgust the children.

You know, as a parent, the extent to which those in Washington think of the children concerns me. It really concerns me. No sane person should think of children as much as they do. It's an inordinate, almost perversive amount....and considering both my kids are boys, when a republican senator starts thinking of children, it makes me want to take them someplace safe. Someplace where they can never be found, and forced to work as an aid for some sweaty guy who spends his days thinking about what a great medium the internet is for enticing kids into sick, thrilling sexual encounters.

This bill sounds fine to me. If you have nothing to hide, what's the problem if the government tracks your internet usage? If this saves even one child from being sexually abused, I'm all for it.
