Why did Boxer retire? She's left of Feinstein and obviously way more spry.

Next month is going to be exciting, there are 4 or 5 legit candidates.

Hope Hicks with 7 hours to spare!!!

It's kind of a funny coincidence how she randomly got abruptly fired immediately after testifying...
02-28-2018 , 06:03 PM
I have not read/seen any reports, but it would not surprise me if she actually resigned.

Fishies on a heater imo.

Thought for sure it would have been sessions, but if he hasn't been canned by now I guess he is never going to be.

Or after admitting that she routinely lies for Trump

Quiet parts out loud

A White House Communications Director lying on behalf of the President would be truly unprecedented
02-28-2018 , 06:52 PM
Perhaps Hicks realized the gravity of the lies during her 9 hours of "testimony" before Congress (and the prior hours of testimony to the Mueller team).

That’s why it’s so funny. She was honest about lying, which everyone knew she was doing anyway. But somehow in trump land, that’s a paddling.

Voicemail of a prospective client says "Leave a message or if you voted for Trump hit star three times" which hangs up.

How much of a discount should they get?

I have had a WaPo subscription for over a year but it recently lapsed accidentally.

Anyways I just got this email from them for a $1 one month deal to EITHER their basic digital subscription or their premium digital prescription. The renewed retail pricing aside (you can certainly get either at much less than $10-$15 a month), the interesting thing is the premium package comes with a second subscription you can give to anyone you want PLUS you get 30 day passes every month to give out as you feel fit. Seems like an excellent and inexpensive way to share the news, perhaps even with some deplorables in your circle of friends and family.

Lol rare thinking he would have his wits about him in 75% of cases requiring an ambulance ride. Plus it is not always optional.

Geez GreenKeed. He was not put in jail for not paying his debts. He was put in jail for not showing up to court.

Bail and the issues with poor people being able to afford bail is a huge problem but still not a debtors prison.

HE WENT TO JAIL FOR MISSING HIS COURT APPOINTMENT TO DISCUSS HOW HE WOULD PAY HIS DEBT. That is not a debtors prison.

You really need to expand your knowledge of the world beyond the Intercept and their silly reporters.

Plus double negative points for not knowing what bail is.

It's amusing to see people baited into taking the right wing position on something just because they really don't like the person making the left wing argument

tl;dr- i doubt that legal weed anywhere is going to significantly reduce opiate overdose deaths.
Disagree from a macro sense as most people who end up addicted to heroin started out using it for moderate pain relief and then got addicted. If a substantial number of those people instead start out treating pain with marijuana they never evolve into full blown heroin addicts.

It will not likely do much for those who are already addicted to heroin and opiates in a bad way, but I am convinced it can absolutely stem the tide of creating new heroin addicts.
