Did you do it? While we're just speculating.

That sentiment is deplorable and betrays a fundamental lack of empathy and humanity.
Actually I think pretending like this is somehow more important than the infinite number of worse bombings that have happened daily overseas for the last 11.5 years is pretty callous. Maybe because I actually cared about what happened overseas in the first place I'm pretty calloused about events like this.

So yes when something like this happens my first thought is "Please don't let the person who did this be a brown person who was trained in Pakistan." Am I grossly offended by what happened? Yes. Am I appalled? Yes. Am I shocked? Absolutely not. I honestly expect an event like this a year. Lately they've all been carried out by home grown crazies though.

And every time it turns out to be home grown crazies I give a sigh of relief... Because if a home grown nutjob did it we don't have casus belli against some other country.

The Tea Party and Libertarians are not going to face the same negative impact that Muslims would and arguing otherwise is pretty silly.. Those groups just don't get painted with the same broad brush and the people who are inclined to do so aren't in the same positions of power.

Why don't you explain to us how you think what's in that article is related to what happened today.

In the first video I watched, after the first explosion, one of the runners went down in a really strange way. I didn't seem like it was from the concussion of the blast because his body looked like it was getting hit in multiple different locations instead of one giant hit. Ball bearings would definitely seem to jive with that.

No idea if a ban is in your future, but we get it, stop making the same dumb conspiratard point and move on. The forum rules are clear and people have been banned in this thread for making less dumb speculative posts than "the feds did it".

Also dont reply to this post, I dont care, I dont want to debate it.

No. The cops have shut down cell reception because cell phones are like the most common detonator on planet earth. Heard it on NPR 25 minutes ago.

The average idiot doesn't think they can identify a Tea Partier sitting across from them in an airport. It's about that simple.

The carriers are denying those reports.

Like I said, maybe I'm wrong but that was my first thought of who'd do something like this, some right wing extremist.
Interestingly enough, Shep Smith on Fox had a guest that alluded to this if a Domestic Terrorist Act.

People could die because they are trapped in rubble and can't call out. It's not just a one way thing.

Yeah Fox News just went from the best cable news coverage (OK, least bad) with Shep Smith to the ****ing nut low with O'Reily and King.

Did buildings collapse? what the **** are you babbling about

this thread totally needed lirva's childish take on things
04-15-2013 , 08:09 PM
Seems amateur for Muslims or homegrown extremists?
04-15-2013 , 08:09 PM
So how many total bombs were there? With two explosions, close by and nearly simultaneous, it is obviously a coordinated effort by multiple people. Idk who the **** did it, and there's no point in speculating right now while there isn't evidence to support speculation.
