The 911 guys were told to blend in, act in a way that wouldnt make them stand out.

The most likely background in this case seems to be zero direct contact to any terror network or cells and they acted together as "lone wolves" (yeah, I know its a plural singular).

They probably werent particularly religious, there isnt any evidence they travelled to Pakistan or received special training and probably didnt correspond directly with anyone. Most likely reason they turned to terror is they took it a couple steps further than half the posters round here who hate the US Gov and how it acts in the middle east and Africa, drone policy and so on. They just went further and saw it not just the US Gov but America itself, then decided to kill some people over it.

To quote the story that would be the lead on any other week:

To see a wrong and not expose it,
is to become a silent partner to its continuance
Of course this is just speculation and time will tell but from the details released this is my speculation until the details come out about why these caucasian terrorists attacked a crowd of civilians at a marathon race.

“I used to warn Dzhokhar that Tamaralan was up to no good,” Zaur Tsarnaev, who identified himself as a 26-year-old cousin, said in a phone interview on Friday from Mkhachkala, in the Russian republic of Dagestan. “[Tamaralan] was always getting into trouble. He was never happy, never cheering, never smiling. He used to strike his girlfriend. He hurt her a few times. He was not a nice man. I don’t like to speak about him. He caused problems for my family.”

Well daily mail is saying the fbi interviewed one of these *******s in 2011. That could be a story.

Maybe the kid bleeds out undiscovered if the homeowner in question doesn't search their property because they're at work. Does a days economic activity outweigh the healing that can come from having proper justice dealt on behalf of an entire community, state, country?

Would any employee have gotten a damn thing done all day? Did most workers elsewhere in the country? Economic output was probably fairly low today nationwide.

Time will tell if we learn anything that can truly be measured in cost from this kid, like info to prevent another attack. But a day lockdown to immediately ensure stability as opposed to days/weeks hunting this guy and the uncertainty for all involved, yeah, I think it was worth it.

eta in bold

This chap is a curious fellow. He sees blood all over his boat tarp during a huge manhunt and instead of calling the cops he decides to look inside.

I guess there is a fine line between being a hero known forever as the guy who found the Boston bomber and being generally regarded as a complete moron after getting shot in the face.

Which is also strange that he didn't shoot the guy considering he had the energy to shoot it out with the cops for the next 30 min.

Hey thanks. I wasn't not home jamming over at my friends house and had no way to keep up with what was going on and wasn't interested in what happened at all. Thanks.

meh, I'm fine with stockading Joker Tsarman on the Boston Common. In fact, hold the trial there, outdoors.
I'm not sure whether Saudis care much about Biblical vengeance, or whether Christians care much about **** being Kosher.

I can only hope you are not serious about your "demands" in this post, but I feel this hope is in vain.

What you, and others who are riled up by this event (and are now out for blood), are asking for, is incredibly dangerous. Ultimately, but not exclusively, to yourself as well.

Couldn't get on here for hours last night, high traffic or what?

Glad he was got alive. I was convinced he'd offed himself in some cellar.
