AQ has a history of using small IED's in the United States?

The word "terrorism" is not a synonym for Muslim extremism. I fail to see where you are not comprehending that.

It doesn't matter what the theological belief of the coward who did this is. Christian, Muslim, Hindu, whatever. We will deal with all of them soon enough.

Right now my thoughts and heart goes out to all the victims of this senseless attack.

if these bombs were made by a sandy hook / aurora colorado type kid, are we calling that terrorism or just sociopaths being sociopaths?

(Plz nobody nit me for casual use of the word sociopaths here)

I assume this is why Obama didn't use the term terrorism because to some it implies a foreign attack.

Yay that's a good bet. Although I was surprised to say Shepard Smith of Fox News was straying away from the AQ and nonsense Islamic Extremist thing. At least far more then CNN.... But I only watched about 30 mins of Fox news and CNN coverage.

Apparently, for law enforcement purposes, anytime an explosive device is set off publicly they refer to it as an act of terrorism. It's a generic term for them.

I was actually trying to support your point, by pointing out that regardless of what the ideology behind this turns out to be behind this it is completely irrelevant as it speaks far too loudly for anyone sane to listen to it. Right, left, Muslim, Christian its all equally abhorrent and not correct to be brought up here.

Will obv respect the ban from this point on and expect another on this account but want this one post to make it 100% clear in no way am I anti Muslim, racist or anything to do with the general trolling itt, nor was my comment in any way meant to suggest that.

As before, thoughts with everyone in Boston, and I shall exit.
