why would they want to have their farm on land that's worth much more if you build housing on it? the point of farms is they're in the middle of nowhere where the land is cheap so you can have a lot of it

and the nimby towns people fighting against high-rises should get ****ed. they've probably seen the value of their single family homes quadruple while banning development and pricing out poor people
