I am watching Lifetime Christmas movies and I may never watch anything else until I've binge-watched all of them. So amazing.
Is the fancy big city business lady going to help her shrill boss get the high-rise development approved for the cocky ivory tower blonde hunk, or save the family poinsettia farm with the chisel-cheeked flannel-clad farmer-hunk? OMG please make the right choice!
I mean if this doesn't scream
farmer to you, you clearly don't know small town America. Farmers wear a lot of hair gel, it's a known fact.
But all the poinsettias aren't turning red this year and no one knows why!??!? Biggest order ever - because the Christmas parade is televised on a major network this year! (Because - well it's a complicate subplot)
A black person appears! She is sassy and makes sausage. Black person in previous movie did shoe repair.
Black person's daughter (childhood rival of fancy business lady) is a huge youtube star and wants to buy out the poinsettia farm. NOOOOOOOOOO!
And now shrill boss is emailing. This is stressful!
Chisel-cheek hairgel farmer-hunk just likes to sit on his truck bed and look at the snow sometimes. He's a simple man with simple pleasures.
Lifetime is actually kind subversive. She’s supposed to be a neutral city planner, but is of course being leaned on to approve this high rise for big city megarich cocky blonde hunk. They also trashed walmart (not by name) for destroying local businesses. Not selling out to soulless corporations seems to be a constant theme. Development is bad. Money is overrated.
Also parents generally look about 10 years older than their adult children. Grandparents are sassy and wise in quirky ways.
DON'T SELL THE POINSETTIA FARM TO EVIL YOUTUBE LADY!!!
