Blood bath coming this month. Kelly is a near lock but probably not gone gone until late with some chance of slipping into January. Based on nothing, it's Huckabee-Sanders, Nielsen, Mattis, Zinke in decreasing likelihood of gone. Rosenstein actually seems safe while Whitaker is poised to take over Mueller but that could change at any moment.

I know there are bigger concerns here but letting Roger Stone live like 20% of his life expectancy as a free man when they have him dead to rites is very irritating to me.

dont know if this has been posted around here but i saw a story about some radio stations pulling "baby it's cold outside" from their christmas mixes.. im sure the conservatards are gonna go nuts about the war on christmas.

that song is so rapey. i mean the whole song is about pushing a woman into sex, including spiking her drink..

So I think we need to discuss the “Presidency of Donald J. Trump” thread. It’s gotten so big it takes forever to load, and it’s only getting worse. I’m thinking about locking it and restarting a part 2 of the thread. However, I think it’s important to keep Awval as the OP and try to preserve the OP as much as possible, for posterity. I was thinking about just removing one of his minor posts in the thread, using it to generate the new thread, and cutting and pasting the original op into that post. What are people’s thoughts?

I'm not having any kind of loading problem at all, so I say just keep it as one thread.

Can you describe the problem that you're having? When viewing the thread I assume it is viewed one page at a time, so why does the number of total pages in thread affect how it loads on your browser?

i have also not noticed any loading differences between the trump thread and any other thread. this is across pc, phone, mac, safari, firefox and chrome

but if you want to change the thread it won't bother me at all. i'm not lobbying for a one thread solution

My computer is 100 years old and slow AF, but I have no problems loading that thread.

The only thing that does slow it down a bit sometimes for me is all the tweets, and starting a new thread won't do anything to solve that.

I take it back. I just did a few very controlled, scientific tests involving loading various threads and counting. Trump thread takes ~4 seconds longer to load than others. Start a new thread and ban awval imo.

When the Trump thread is slow it has nothing to do with your computer - it's the back end 2p2 servers.

And it is really slow sometimes. Like just clicking the Quote button to open a reply-post - it can chug for 30 seconds before anything happens. No other threads do that. If you're on a slow computer you might not even notice because everything seems slow to you. But on my macbook pro I notice it often.

Probably some DB indexing issue for such a giant thread. Most likely closing it and creating a new thread would fix it.
