I wonder what has happened to Tiffany in this whole thing. Is she regarded as useless by her dad and thus doesn't appear in the spotlight at all as a result? Was she opposed to what was a political publicity stunt gone wrong?

You'd think papa would want his whole family in on the grifting going on. I'm surprised Barron isn't on the internets designing .gov websites.

Barron is supposed to be excellent at cyber

Tiffany is pretty clearly the most intelligent. She at least has the sense to stay out of the news.

The president only likes his hot daughter.

People are paying $50 to invest a few hundo in bitcoins? Those would be insane brokerage fees.

Everything about crypto"currencies" (if it's not universally accepted I don't know how one can claim it's actually currency) seems insane.

read today that bitcoin "ATM" transaction fees are anywhere from 7% to $50, not sure if it's whatever is lowest or highest

The competition at my (wife's) family's Christmas was to see who could be the most outraged and my 93yo step-father-in-law won. We are a one party state dictatorship and WAAF.

Getting the old man that fired up may be a bit risky.

The Foxxcon deal in Wisconsin had another billion tacked onto their subsidies, from 3 billion to 4 billion

Tiffany is still in college.

Who would expect her to be working in a substantial White House role while in Law School?

He's spry. We do have to keep him from working on a ladder, driving a car and stuff like that, but he can handle getting fired up.

Do you guys sit around and lament the fall of the Soviet Union?

Do you sit around and celebrate the rise of Putin?

The greatest trick the GOP ever pulled was conflating left wing politics in western nations with the atrocities of the USSR and Mao's China.

Berlin Wall's only been down for 30 years. Red Menace still just around the corner imo.

Hard to believe it's really been that long. Watching on TV as people went to work on it with sledgehammers and pick axes with the armed soldiers just sitting back and watching is one of my greatest childhood memories.

It's with great sadness and more than a little shame that I've had to watch so many in my country turn from celebrating tearing down such a wall to passionately advocating building one.

You know what ****ing sucks about Christmas?

Baby Boomers.

WOAT.

Why don't all the kids these days go to school for $500 per semester and enter a job market where a college degree means something? Why don't they rent an apartment for $250 per month and save money? And why won't they give their dear parents grandkids to fawn over?

Absolute Worst. Generation. Ever.

The fact that they've politically enabled climate change and some of the most obscene wealth transfers in human history is a far greater sin than being stuck in the past.

What a great honor indeed:

It has everything to do with recognizing:

Hatch’s part in the dramatic dismantling of the Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments.

His role as chairman of the Senate Finance Committee in passing a major overhaul of the nation’s tax code.

His utter lack of integrity that rises from his unquenchable thirst for power.
