If Mueller is as expansive as Ken Starr was, look the **** out!

Only when Republicans do it, jeezus you are all such hacks. I regret defending you in the past, you're squarely on the basket.

As a lot of people have noted, impeachment is not a solution to all the problems anyway.

A big fat enrollments scandal following this would be cool and hopefully keep Trump whining and failing.

This appears to be Lynzie Graham's biggest fear

I grew up and lived in Morris County NJ until I was 32. I'm well aware of his shenanigans.

I knew how bad this guy was and told every single person I know he was a mistake. What's your excuse? Her emails? Please.

To Republicans, this is "winning" because they are getting away with it.

So the odds of impeachment are the same as the odds of Hillary winning the day before the election?

Seriously every "Never Trump" Republican I know or am aware of (like politicians) is either full on supporting him, defending him, or deflecting about Hillary and the DNC. He's an incompetent idiot, what more do you need to admit that? The truth is that they don't give a **** about anything other than themselves so who cares if Trump screws over a lot of poor people and destroys the planet in the process? Not their problem!

I'd be fine telling rara he doesn't have to pay any taxes but then he doesn't get to use roads or call the police or fire department, seems like a good deal to me.

My experience with an impeachment proceeding against a corrupt narcissist mounted by his own party was Blagojevich. He fought to the bitter end in the legislature and he's still appealing his convictions. The final vote was almost unanimous.

One is a career law enforcement officer, the other is a career reality show host with a few bankruptcies along the way.

TBH I have fallen for McCain's shtick where he says something and you are just so desperate for that ONE person in the Republican party that isn't a hack and you desperately want to believe it and yet his actions betray him every time.
It's pretty amazing. Our desperation for that one republican to stand up and do what's right reminds me of the SNL "Hero of the US: To be Determined" sketch

blago was inexplicably more stupid than trump. Trump has far more power in fed than he did at state too. If anything trump would love an impeachment trial; gets to rail everybody's out to get him and all that. If he resigns it's at the last second in order to setup something else.

The impeachment trial would get incredible ratings, that much I'm sure of.

I believe it was a unanimous 59-0 vote. The difference is, we're dealing with Democrats who have a modicum of decency whereas, Republicans do not.

The other huge difference is there were actual recordings of him trying to sell Obama's vacated senate seat.

good point, we don't know how comey ended up after refusing to close the flynn and russia investigations. Pretty sure Comey still heads the FBI and nothing bad happened to him

This is gonna need some explaining. Blago was stupid, but so far, Trump has shown he an out-stupid anyone including his past self.

the misguided right wing defense tactics that take a LOT of willful ignorance:

Highlight

Quote:
The Republican spin on this involves a twofold absurdity:
  • The first plank is pretending not to notice that after Trump’s request to Comey regarding Flynn was not fulfilled, Trump fired Comey. That’s not a light touch at all.
  • The second plank is pretending not to notice that a president covering for subordinates’ crimes is serious wrongdoing, even if the president himself is not under investigation.
