Trump just loves the attention. He is racist rich pervert who is probably just miserable inside and a complete narcissist. Disgraceful.

Chiefsplanet is totally confused atm. Alt-right hasn't told them what to think yet.

Pretty sure Awval wasn't referring to Nixon (who wasn't actually impeached), but, instead, was taking a shot at Bill Clinton (who fired an FBI director, William Sessions, for alleged tax avoidance and other financial shenanigans).

I'm hoping that regardless of what happens with the FBI investigation , there is still some NSA/CIA/counter intel person putting it all together. Whether is a piss tape or a phone call, it will eventually come out. Movie scenario is someone has all the dirt and when the **** hits the fan trough conventional routes, it gets blasted out to the media.

How much longer with it take for the GOP to realize that Trump is toxic? We will have to wait till 2018? At some point, the rational ones have to realize that their careers are seriously on jeopardy and flip on Trump.

The FBI investigation into Trump will still go on. When a principal gets fired the school doesn't stop teaching. When a CEO gets fired from a company they don't shut down. Its business as usual.

Surprised you didn't figure out it was another case of whataboutism

Weren't all you Dems upset with Comey's late October announcement of re-opening the investigation of Clinton's private email server, and calling for his head then? Reps were just as upset with Comey's ridiculous announcement in July that made a clear case as to how Clinton violated various statutes but somehow would not be charged. Comey has proven to be less than up for the job as perceived by both parties at various times.

(CNN) Federal prosecutors have issued grand jury subpoenas to associates of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn seeking business records, as part of the ongoing probe of Russian meddling in last year's election, according to people familiar with the matter. CNN learned of the subpoenas hours before President Donald Trump fired FBI director James Comey.

Yes but at least comey signaled he would be investigating trump. It seems likely trump will appoint someone loyal to him and not to the constitution because trump has nothing but disdain for the rule of law.

1. the day he said mexicans are pouring over the border and that they're rapists
2. the day he called for a total and complete shutdown of muslims entering the country
3. the video and audio tape of him confessing to kissing strangers without asking permission and grabbing women by the pussy and boasting that he gets away with it because he's famous

what else COULD he do?? the guy didn't want to be president in the worst way, he gave the republican party every opportunity to dump him. i'm convinced that even if multi-angle HD video recordings surfaced of trump pissing on and accidentally killing an underage russian prostitute, republicans would stand by their man.

I personally know conservatives who would 100% go "well we don't know both sides to the story, maybe she consented to being killed, no way to know, always someone willing to go after you when you're rich"

That movie plays like The Sound Of Music compared to this.

Yeah, firing the FBI director right before he testifies about an investigation into your ties with a foreign government may look bad, but remember when Bill Clinton met with Loretta Lynch on a plane for ten minutes?

They are as dumb as we thought they were.

Seems like an FBI director being disliked by both parties is the next best thing to being an FBI director who is liked by both parties. Probably better.

i wish they would take one day out of the week and work late trying to promote an infrastructure bill to congress.
