If we have nothing they want, why haven't they just cut us loose already?
If you want the result of the referendum overturned you want no deal off the table because we cannot negotiate without it.
The house of commons has shown there is a majority for the Brady amendment. At this stage that is what the Government should be pushing for but for some reason the EU and the Government choose to completely ignore this.
You mean after you leave with no deal, you will stop using all those european products? you promise that? you will still use them, you will just pay more for them due to tariffs. In the real world, not fantasy land, you trade most with those who are closest to you, e.g. UK trade with China is on par with its trade with Ireland. Unfortunately for you the EU is on your doorstep, while most of the commonwealth is an ocean away.
You are delusional if you think you will not pay those 39bn if you leave with no deal. The UK will still want some trade deal with the EU eventually and that will be point 1 on the EU agenda.
EU hasnt cut you off by now, because they will lose too. If EU loses 1 bn per month in no deal, and UK loses 3 bn, it doesnt matter that the UK loses 3 times as much, the EU still doesnt want to lose that 1bn. However at some point losing that 1bn is more favorable than having you in the EU and being ***** about it, ala JRM suggested, and blocking any attempt for progress.
Lol at the Brady amendment, i.e. renegotiate the backstop amendment and replace it with .... something. What is that something no one knows or figured out for 2 years but somehow the ERG still believes that it exists.
