Have you seen the homeless figures for London?
01-16-2019 , 06:22 PM
She is finding new ways to disappoint when I thought she had exhausted them all.
01-16-2019 , 06:23 PM
You clearly set the bar too high for her, ie off the ground.

When every door way in every main street in Glasgow is full I can see how bad it would be in London... Yes that's every Doorway that a shop is closed or Open... Argyle St, bucannon St.. + More.

So yeah I could See it being a lot worse down there but it's not there kids...

Since London was always the place to go for runaways etc, it must be out of control...

I'm sure I've seen an IFF in some programming language. I used to do a lot of logic programming, so maybe a flavour of Prolog or Lisp....
I don't think I've ever seen it in actual syntax but it's the backbone of negation as failure logic programming so you get to write it down a lot.

It's not every doorway but it's really bad these days and I think we've had two deaths just outside parliament.

There's no excuse at all. Problem was largely solved before the tories took over and it's about as basic a priority as we can get

They shut all the council run hostels here a few years ago, and there's like 100 drug addicts staying under the Glasgow bridge at the city centre.
And other bridges along the City centre. Atleast 3 died last year with drug issues and more committed suicide. Basically the coast guards are around there every other month dredging the Clyde river.
And there mostly out of sight, it's mental health issues regarding the people on view who have tents and sleeping bags, women too. And it all started with the cutbacks & bedroom taxes. Most if not all the people are from outside Glasgow.

Lucky that the Indian restaurant round the corner feeds them most nights.

I'll be honest Chez, I couldn't imaging how bad London is as you have Atleast x10 the number of homeless.

Q. regardless of what you want to what happen - what will happen? i.e what will the government/Brexit look like a year from now?

farage will be arguing for a 3rd referendum
01-16-2019 , 11:24 PM
May doesn’t want to call a referendum and nobody wants her job. So UK lurches from deadline to deadline until UK government gives up and basically approves a Brexit deal that’s remain in all but name and without the ability to vote in EUP and EC.

This was and still is the path of least resistance.

Could this be a kick the can down the road situation where Britain constantly finds ways to extend this two year provisional window for further negotiations and the EU enables them constantly for fear of them being hurt by a no-deal situation as well?

I still like the outcome of the government explaining how the Brexit Simulation Program showed how important staying in the EU is for our economy and quality of life, mostly for humor but also as a **** you to Brexiters.

Only if May's two years too late attempts to build a consensus across the HoP fails.

A Norway type deal looks favourite imo, though freedom of movement is a sticking point.
01-17-2019 , 02:46 AM
I'd much prefer a Norway thing than May's current abortion of a deal. Give us a means to make trade deals (finally!) outside EU, which is a structural basis for future further movement away from EU as it steadily becomes more and more coercive and less and less cooperative (its uniform trend since Maastrich and before).

Quite good actually, as a seat at the table is virtually worthless now, whilst rest of world trade deals are key to future UK prosperity as the EU project fails or grows (whichever it is).

Only thing that could be better is if Scotland ****s off soon.

Let's hope.

I think you need a new thread for that. Let's not rattle our sweaty friends here.
