Holy **** that Pulp Fiction tweet.

lol if Coons pulled this off he should run in 2020

If you're liberal and think the GOP will be hurt by confirming K*******h (I'd count myself as both) should you want them to confirm? I'm genuinely torn. I think confirming is better for my expected policy outcomes but it also let's a mendacious, raging piece of **** get on the Supreme Court. IDK. I'd probably be better off if they confirmed him but it would still feel awful in the moment. And I'd fist pump if the Senate voted him down.

Racist ban for everyone referring to the bald New Jersey senator as Coons.

That said it got reported he watched her testimony on wall street journal and he told harris no, so either WSJ is lying or he lied about something nobody would've given a **** about. Like the other things he lied about nobody would've given a **** about. He literally could've said, yeah I was a frat boy in college and liked to party, and nobody would've given a **** but nope, he went full choir boy and had that interview with his wife by him on fox news denying everything. God these people man.
yeah, I think some of the slang terms are a bit iffy but tbh.. I wouldn't want to make assumptions about what some slang words by themselves meant back in the 80s or indeed whether some high school kid at a posh school was familiar with the meaning

on the other hand the "Renate Alumnus" comments are dodgy as **** and the explanation for it from Kavanugh just doesn't seem plausible - his virgin claim was a bit of a bold move too, likewise playing down the drinking - it is quite brazen of him to go and double down like that especially given that the yearbook paints a very different picture.

im extremely tilted that i have allowed myself to become hopeful when i know they're gonna confirm him anyway

same, although very marginally so

I'm trying to just hope that after they confirm him, Avenatti et al will make them look even worse and we will take the House and Senate back as revenge

An angry Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court forever seeking revenge for his nomination process is the worst outcome imo.

No. Categorically no. Confirming him is an incredibly awful outcome for our country, regardless of what happens in the ensuing elections. Thinking anything other than that is naive, uneducated, or a bad faith consideration.

Vote reportedly delayed

The Senate Judiciary Committee is reportedly delaying its vote.

A text message from a senator in the chamber to CBS News says there is something afoot involving Arizona Republican Jeff Flake.

Fbi investigation might happen?

I am not confident. I feel like they will pass it.
09-28-2018 , 01:48 PM
Would be a lol dem thing to use flake's leverage only to get a republican based fbi investigation out of it.
