It'll be hilarious if... Libs will be so triggered." She does it while mugging for the camera with very stiff body language. Then looks at her hand after. It's not close.

I want to believe as much as anyone else, but which is more likely:

A) She is all about 4chan alt-right culture and was informed by text that moment was perfect for trolling the libs/signaling her white supremacist beliefs.

B) A friend texted her that her left side is totally on tv and looking fine girl and she made a gesture to acknowledge the text.

I don't WANT to believe, but I do. A is more likely... There are like three or four paths to A.

1. Signaling her white supremacist beliefs. (highly unlikely - I don't doubt that she could be a white supremacist, since she's been involved in immigration policy for this administration, but I doubt she'd blatantly signal it)

2. Strategically trolling the libs for political gain. (moderately unlikely)

3. Trolling the libs for ****s and giggles. (most likely)

4. Tricked by someone via text into doing this signal. (somewhat unlikely)

On the other hand, to get to B you have to hit a parlay that she knows she's on TV during a Senate confirmation hearing and is still screwing around with her phone for amusement, received a text like that, decided to be funny and make some gesture to signal it (okay so far not that hard to believe) and then out of all the gestures, picked that one. Not a little thumbs up, not a wink, not a smile, not a wave, not a stretch, not a nod, nor a point, nor a peace sign... Nope, the okay sign.

Then to complete your parlay, instead of clarifying what was going on, her husband decided to take to Twitter to insist that she just randomly placed her hands that way.

There is virtually a 0% chance she randomly placed her hands that way. So why lie about something innocent?

I could totally buy that she received information and she was supposed to give to Kavanaugh and was signalling that she got it, or that she was signalling a senator that some line of questioning (or whatever) was okay based on whatever text/email she got, but why not just acknowledge that after the accusations started?

Most of these questions are what will you do type questions, not what have you done did this happen etc so basically you’re asking about future what ifs so I don’t think telling the truth is entirely possible
