This stupid crap makes our side look as dumb as trumpkins.

In before people are talking about Kavanaugh’s sex slaves hidden under a DC calzone shop.

Show me the rule stating that the rule that "the rule does not apply" does not exist.

Judiciary committee member: "I'll be very judicious"
Judiciary committee chair: "I don't know what that means"

I loved the “can you show me where the rules say that?” “How about you show me where the rules don’t say that?” exchange. Such hot nonsense.

Each dem should filibuster now

Grassley is too old to have so much power.

The National Rifle Association says it’ll spend at least $1 million on television ads urging the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court in states represented by four vulnerable Democratic senators and a Republican considered a key vote on the nomination.
.
.
The NRA views Kavanaugh as a tie-breaker on cases related to gun rights. Kavanaugh has also earned the endorsement of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, a gun industry lobby, as well as Gun Owners of America.

Sitting behind this "nominee" -

Prior to President Trump’s election, Bash was the deputy director of policy and communications for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign. ... Formerly, Bash was a counsel to Senator John Cornyn.
these are the senators voting to confirm the guy...

GOP SCOTUS checklist:

[x] runs marathons
[x] correctly uses semicolons
[ ] does not rule from a partisan perspective

meh, 2/3 good enough

Too many people at the top get bailouts

I think the tax cut worked

These people absolutely do not in any way live in reality.

I love how everyone on the committee is like "oh i agree with senator sasse's comments" and then proceeds to do exactly the type of thing he warned about.

Holy cow...this should immediately be press fodder for a week and force him to remove his name from consideration...in a sane world.

I mean I suppose he could've turned and run away quicker if the guy was pointing a gun at him, but not much.

I really wish a dem would point out the complete and utter fiction every republican has engaged in where they, the Repubs, pretend they disdain legislating from the bench when they have been almost exclusively engaged in such practices for everything except the tax cuts. It is their one legislative tool and it’s such nonsense to say they don’t do it.

I mean, if it starts on 4chan but ends up mimicked by every alt-right racist in a group of 2 or more, is it still a troll?

People continue to think banning guns is the answer. Maybe it is if you blindside people with it as they did in Australia. When you talk about it for 5-10 years and give people warning you want to instill some sort of legislation everyone prepares for it and you don’t get guns out of the hands of the people you need to get them out of

So you're saying we need a surprise nighttime raid of all gunowner's homes to confiscate their weapons? I can be convinced.
