Maybe Stein can get rid of GMOs and dangerous vaccinations with quantitative easing.

I voted for Stein. I think she is a pretty bad candidate though. Very uninformed and has basically no experience at all.

Also, huge LOL at the previous discussion of people who STILL don't think Bernie would do better vs. Trump than Hillary. Like, your candidate already won, congrats. At least concede that you were wrong on that point.

Illinois is safe I reckon.

I voted Dem instead of Green on all the downballot races. Didn't want to play spoiler there, as I know controlling the House/Senate are the best way to get progressive bills passed. Duckworth (D) is starting to look like a lock to win the Senate seat here.

lol that's so ****ing stupid (the stuff about voting your conscience and choosing jill stein)
11-07-2016 , 08:38 AM
you voted your conscience for a presidential ticket with a vice president who thinks Jews did 9/11

that's an interesting conscientious decision you made there

So much this. I've never been less happy to be right. I so wish we had all been wrong. This is bad.

Peaceful protests to urge HRC and congress along are turning into Kent States. Law and Order.

I don't know how it can be done, but Congress must change in 2018.

she's just so ****ing electable. literally about to lose to a guy that has a monster list of things that would have made other pols have to quit out of shame.

Idk if the "i told you so" people are referring to Bernie > HRC. If so, then lol you. Lol at the idea of a socialist Jew winning this election after what we've seen tonight.

Not sure if we want to go for normality when a orange clown won

clearly the most establishment politician that people have hated for decades and plays right into the angst of the electorate was the better choice.
11-09-2016 , 02:35 AM
I don't think she was the better choice necessarily. Probably though, if you think about demos. Millennials +Bernie, Blacks +Hillary, Latinos +Hillary, Olds +Hillary, Women ??. In any case, I think blaming HRC or her campaign for this loss misses the point bigly (would be saying the same if Bernie was the one losing the election right now). Rural R's turned out in force because whites "need to take America back" from the evil forces of Mexicans and political correctness.

If I wanted to be results oriented I might go back and change my Hill primary vote, but that would be solely gambling it up. Still think Bernie's EV would be lower

Are you saying Bernie would have lost more black/latino voters to Trump? Obama did better than her with latinos and she ran against a guy who literally wants to deport millions of latinos out of the country and called them rapists. How can you possibly say HRC doesn't deserve blame for being a ****ty candidate? How can the DNC escape blame for pushing that ****ty candidate? The amount of visceral hate Republicans have towards her is just astounding. Him being a massive liar mattered nothing to these people because "she lies". I just think given the mood of the electorate her weaknesses were perfect for Trump. Bernie would have mitigated some of her weaknesses. Sure, you add commie bastard to it but so what? Obama is a commie too no? This should've been authoritarian populism versus progressive populism instead of authoritarian populism versus establishment.

Bernie might not have done as "well" in the South as Hillary did.
