I assume Pompeo will lose zero support for lying about serving in Iraq.

Link?

But yeah, Republican standards only apply to others - John Kerry gets swift boated, while President Bone Spurs claims he'd have run into the Parkland school and Trumpkins shed a tear for how fortunate they are to have such a brave and heroic leader

Well, it's not like someone can just change a Wikipedia page.

Costco still manages to pull off not being too evil to employees.

Don't get me wrong, he is a ****ty human being. However, even in the link it doesn't say that he ever made the claim himself (it's possible I missed it somewhere, and if so, just disregard this). Obviously he could have easily corrected it. But that's not quite as bad and enough to give him cover for anyone who wants to make excuses.

That USMC ad is pretty dope.

Apparently there's serious unrest in Nicaragua right now over social security reform (aka theft). Dozens of people dead. I'm headed there in a week. Hmmmm

I think Daniel Ortega jumped the shark in 2011. I'm sure you'll be fine, but Nicaragua might be in for more unrest. Keep the updates coming!

Our like entire healthcare system is set up for people to take advantage of inflated costs for both medications and services because of the way insurance works. Also drug companies consistently have higher profit margins than average (a quick search shows that they’ve had the highest of any industry in the last 5 years but I can’t look too deep into it at the moment). I’m ok rewarding them to some degree for home run innovations, like curing hepatitis C, but they’re basically applying that philosophy to every new fancy drug that comes out regardless of efficacy and potential use. Cancer treatments, for example, tend to be incredibly costly for marginal benefits over previous medications. More public involvement in research is probably a huge part of the solution but lol US ever doing something like that, you know trying to benefit people without someone making $$

Maybe don't?
04-21-2018 , 04:05 PM
Yeah, I dunno suzzer, seems like a risky plan.
04-21-2018 , 04:52 PM
It's probably no more risky than Guatemala which has triple the homicide rate of Nicaragua and that's where Suzzer was last I heard.

Nicaragua is pretty darn safe for the turistas yanquis.
04-21-2018 , 05:05 PM
Most reporting is that it's 10 people killed.

Courtesy of the Netflix documentary series Flint Town, about the Flint police department, here is an excellent reaction gif:

(for bonus context, he's eyerolling while one of his officers - who is about 90% to have voted for Trump - talks about how soft and fluffy the new recruits are when they need tougher officers to be TOUGH ON CRIME)

Quite a few companies try. They have to watch their backs, as any successful company that puts principles before profits is a ripe target for those salivating at all those easy profits to be made if they can get control.

Am I the only ferret on the forum that thinks James Comey might run for president in 2020? The book and media stuff he's doing and the type of language he's using in the media, very 'Murrica shining beacon rule of law type stuff, I wouldn't be suprised if he runs.

Things to reconsider for $400, Alex.

They aren't targeting tourists. It just might suck and I might get trapped somewhere.
04-22-2018 , 09:21 AM
I'm sure if you stay out of Managua it's fine. Not that you'd want to go to Managua anyway. Also check out the Somoto canyon near the Honduras border.
04-22-2018 , 09:26 AM
Comey not only lacks any charisma, he's one of the few people hated by both sides. You may have a future in political consulting for Democrats.
