His small hands can't grasp a baseball properly. Don't blame him there.

The advantage is that you can sell and trade from funds into different funds without every sale of funds creating a taxable event on the gains, allowing you to continue collecting interest on the money that you wont have to pay to the IRS until you make withdrawals. It’s minor.

Imagine how the mega backdoor Roth discussion would have unfolded on ChiefsPlanet.

They really are just dumber.

Minneapolis is like a post apocalyptic movie. No one is here. 730pm is like 3am in LA.

I don't know what the hell this is, but Schumer should just strip him of his committee assignments. Let him defect to the Rs already.

Frankly, I’ll take the (D) senate seat. He could just run as a Republican and win every time too.

Of course he’s a huge POS. Believe his daughter makes like $10m a year at Pfizer lolololll at this party ever doing **** about anything never mind.

Umm every city is like that except NYC and Las Vegas. Most of LA shuts down pretty early as well afaict.

Nah. Like the airport at 730pm looked half closed. The light rail coming out of the airport had a handful of people in each car. Hardly anyone on the road.

All of these things would be packed in LA. Downtown LA has more going on now that it used to and isn't as dead late at night (other than homeless people) as it used to be, but late was NEVER 730pm.

I kinda qualify as an expert witness on LA. I've lived around there as an adult for about 25 years.
04-11-2019 , 10:44 PM
Yeah 730 is pretty extreme, I guess I was thinking about how most cities tend to shut down earlier than I expect, LA included.

I'm at an airbnb. Got some food at a Somali place (not a lot of those in LA - though there seem to be a lot in San Diego). The place was cool and they were super nice and kept giving me extra stuff - and, hate to say it, but the food isn't that great. It's fine though. I don't mind the cold - it's like 30 deg or so - outside. And the airbnb is nice - it's a room in a house that's all airbnb'd - electronic lock on front door and each room. My only complaint about the cold is it's about 50 degrees in my damn room. We never run the heat at my house at night, so I'm used to that or thereabouts in the winter, but it's pretty cold for an airbnb.

I'd say "/blog", but I'm not sure I'm through.

Its 30 degrees in la?

Mega backdoor Roth is another advantage for rich people -- plow $53-60K for each spouse into retirement accounts for 20 years at 7% = $5M tax free that their heirs can use over the heirs's calculated life expectancy.

It's not quite as good a deal as Mitt Romney's kids got, but it's pretty good.

Also, lol Minneapolis. Last night in supposedly buttoned-down Boston, we had an 8-o'clock dinner reservation, the place was full, and on our way home, we saw a mile-long traffic jam heading INTO the city, due to some paving/pothole filling.

The 30 degrees is in MN. The reference to being cold in my house in LA was being 50 degrees inside, which is what it is inside my room in the airbnb. The house isn't bad (like 65), but my room is cold. Bad insulation there I guess.

The wifi password here is a bible verse. That makes it feel more likely that someone is going to be trying to chain me up in the basement, but maybe in this part of the country it's normal.

There is currently a blizzard happening in Minneapolis? That would explain it.

No blizzard. No precipitation since I got here. There's snow and slush on the ground (sidewalks, grass etc), but not a lot. I think it snowed last night and rained a little in the middle of the day today. The roads are clear.
04-12-2019 , 12:22 AM
I don't mean it's literally no one around. It's just quiet and unpopulated compared to LA or the SF Bay area. That's not a bad thing - just different.

I asked Gregorio in a pm, but I’m too impatient: is crossnerd a reiteration of the poster lirva?

No they've got people who are accountants and super sharp on a lot of stuff - like here. They're just selectively dumb when it comes to politics.

What does Greg Oreo know? Dude's not even a mod.

(I don't know if CN is lirva - doubt it - but I don't really know lirva very well)

You could have just asked me in a pm. I'd have told you no, I'm not.

Also, hi
04-12-2019 , 12:27 AM
I don't know who lirva is, fwiw. I'm making some assumptions based on context though.
04-12-2019 , 12:30 AM
Like I said, I don't know lirva, but a lot of people are saying he's a very stable genius.

Well, then, I don’t know who you are.
And hello.

Lol.

I mainly came on here to read what you all had to say about the assange arrest (Jesus my autocorrect did not want me to type out that assange was arrested!)

Anyway, saw some mentions of sexism, yadda yadda, and posted.
So that’s the story of that.

Good thing they’re not Lirva tho, because some hot -she’s a hypocrite takes- we’re already forming in my head.
