Mod playground is a forum Mat gives to a mod who wants to explore a topic of particular interest to them. For example, previously there was a Food and Drink playground and and diebitter's Advice and Avatars playground. Participation is not limited to mods and all are welcome.

Nah my read on Mat is a decent guy put in impossible situations from below and (mostly) above. Who has (quite understandably) checked out. I think any drunkenness is a completely natural reaction.
