I just caught this on Rachel Maddow. Apparently, the Cuban government used non-audible sonic devices over a long period with the intention of deafening the Diplomats. No, not a joke. Rachel assured me.

Meanwhile, the State Department completely stonewalled reporters about this today. They would only say some people had "physical symptoms", but wouldn't say how many people, when, where, how, or why. So weird.

What in the world happened??

Not much info, but here at least is a report.

Doesn't seem that the Cuban government is the only suspect, or that this intention is clear, although the US did expel a couple of diplomats.

Probably some unintended side effect of some other program they were running. I can't imagine "make the us diplomats all go deaf" would be the goal, but hey who knows

CNN just said that a 3rd country may be involved as "payback" to spark chaos. They don't know what country, but the sonic device is a new instrument from that 3rd country. Rusher, the extra payback they promised for sanctions? Or too LDO?

Man, this whole situation is weird.

UPDATE: Yesterday, the AP specifically named Russia as possibly being the 3rd country. If true, this cannot be taken lightly. Consider the implications of such a thing, combined with a POTUS who won't stand in Russia's way on anything bad they do to us.

The 2nd update is that covert devices inside the home of these Americans is what may have been the cause of the attack.
