They both require rigorous adhesion to one's virginity.

They seem primarily directed only where they overlap with the Republican Party.
You can check the LP platform at your leisure. You clearly haven't yet.

Borodog didn't like that post of course but strangely didn't argue with my point. Rather he merely said that I shouldn't publicly be writing such things.

Taking this back to the real world, my stance is that past some insanely large bankroll, you should not find it immoral if someone tries to steal from you.
First point, nobody faults anyone for trying to survive in the survival of the fittest contest. Second point, wealth and property is maintained by the government, so not necessarily justly aquired. This is more or less the "Property is Impossible".

Anarchism promotes a certain skepticism of authority. Walter Block once belived in God. Robert Murphy is a Christian. I don't think organized religion is consistent with libertarianism.

Of course it is consistent. You can be a skeptic of authority, but the entire point of AC is voluntary associations - you can choose to be associated with anything you want as long as it isn't hurting another.

I know several AC Christians.

I agree that ACism will generally lead to questioning of authority, which can lead to atheism, but it certainly isn't a rule, in any sense.

So what should/does libertarianism say about the Catholic church? I think there are some observable degrees of coersion that occurs in organized religion as it becomes large and hierarchical.

It is a voluntary association where people are free to believe what they want, so what is the observable coercion you see?

I think with regard to religion, things become tricky because parent's raise their kids to follow a religion, and there is little choice for the children.

But, I was raised in a Christian Orthodox church and became an atheist when I was 13-14 years old. So, IDK.

I have mixed feelings with religion. There is the boy loving in the catholic church which thrives on obedience and should be abolished imho. But others handle their beliefs just fine without using force. I do think that families and family pressure is a form of psychological coersion, especially young. I do not think when I believed in the Christian it was voluntary, nor every offering in an offering plate is voluntary. Some churches are very bad such as Scientology. If I was forced to be religious, I'd be a Satanist.

Historically it's hard to ignore how church & state worked together to centralize power and influence tho

It's too bad that guy disliked Jews.

Yeah. Proudhon wanted all Jews killed.

I'd say though that "disliked Jews" was not a rare sentiment in Euroland in the 19th century. (or a lot of other centuries as well)

Ron Paul is a Christian, and has done much for liberty. Also the Ron Paul vs the Republicans in the debates show the contrast in positions and basically Ron Paul rocked it. Though no one is perfect, all about the religion of Ron Paul.

Didn't Ron Paul spend his whole career raising campaign money that didn't get spent on campaigns and sending out racist pamphlets to scare people into giving him money?

He spent some time giving speeches to confederate societies too, and some time shilling survival products on wingnut radio shows.

To be fair, this. My girlfriend's friend was staying with us during the election and I mentioned to him that I was browsing the politics section of a poker forum. He thought it was weird; I reflected on it and realized yeah, ****'s pretty weird. Nothing wrong with it. But it's weird.
