This is kinda interesting because it tests the legal limits of obviously bad faith a good arguments. When YouTube is banning him it’s “he is a serious media source that has first amendment rights just like CNN”, when he’s getting sued it’s “he’s obviously a trolly entertainer that nobody thinks is a news source.”

It's the standard right-wing response to all of their public figures. Trump produces the same sort of circus act apologists who insist you take him seriously as a politician and a President and respect the office and the institution and really he's very orthodox, just like all the others except when he's tweeting childish insults or **** babbling senile nonsense in interviews, in which case he's just trolling the media and you're not supposed to take him seriously or literally, he's just trolling the media with his patented theatrics.

The problem is that there are many lower IQ and/or mentally ill Americans that believe what he says. If Jones is truly just a performance artist, he should have known by now that he's taken things too far and he's inciting crazy people to do crazy things......

I dont really know or care if he is a performance artist. In an age where we didnt have the internet, nobody would know who Alex Jones is. So at some point either Alex Jones needs to take responsibility for what he says (which will never happen) or somebody needs to step in.....I realize there is a fine line with freedom of speech. But when what you have said has incited crazy people to announce death threats to parents of children who died at Sandy Hook, it is waaaaay past time something be done.
