It's the standard right-wing response to all of their public figures. Trump produces the same sort of circus act apologists who insist you take him seriously as a politician and a President and respect the office and the institution and really he's very orthodox, just like all the others except when he's tweeting childish insults or **** babbling senile nonsense in interviews, in which case he's just trolling the media and you're not supposed to take him seriously or literally, he's just trolling the media with his patented theatrics.
