Liberal in the blue states, moderate in the dumpster fire states is the only answer here.

PredictIt has Jones at $0.37 now, for what it's worth.
This ain't Virginia. It ain't even Louisiana or Texas. It's Alabama. It is irrelevant who runs on each party line.

I don't agree. Party loyalty may be stronger than in other states, sure. But if the individual candidates were truly irrelevant, Moore wouldn't be up by only 6 points in the polling average.

To be clear, again, I still think Jones is a long shot. The $0.37 on PredictIt seems way too high to me. I would give him maybe a 25% shot, but hey, that's a real chance. Before today, I would have put it at < 1%.

Edit to add: I think Jones gets some bonus equity in the scenario the GOP decides to back Strange or someone else as a write-in candidate instead and people get confused at the ballot, splitting the (R) vote.

I feel this is so obvious that even the DNC can't **** it up. But we'll see.

I can't imagine being so stupid that I would go on the record supporting Moore before you see if anyone comes forward with an out-and-out rape story in response to this scoop.

We know it isn't. But your constant negativity doesn't help anyone.

Again, not my actual post. Rest of the first post in that thread was pretty positive.

If you want sunshine and rainbows, discussing politics probably isn't for you.

You were off by 11 points in your op mr brightside

lol fatkid.

Champ, It was a light hearted joke post, no need to get all crazy.

But being defeatist in a situation like this where there is a possibility to make progress is just weak.

lol optimism. Everything will be horrible and we're all gonna die.

That Roy Moore article is way worse than I thought. He was 32 and an ASA when he picked up a 14 year old, then molested her.

They've already decided that 34-year-olds cruising for 14-year-olds is fine, it's not a huge leap to try to dismiss rape accusations, too.

So if an actual known child molester gets elected to the US senate simply because he's way more racist than all his opponents I don't see the way forward without rivers of blood.

Some of the right winger talking points were predictable but I should have predicted the whole "32 years old, he was just a pup, why he was just a teenager in love" type takes. We actually heard this about Trump that like 10 whole years had passed since the Access Hollywood tapes and he had evolved into a changed man as matured from his 60s into his 70s.

Let's check in with Hannity:

1. "He said, she said"
2. "all consensual"
3. "you can't prove anything"

Special bonus points to whatever clown Hannity is talking to that says the real victims here are other victims, who can no longer come forward due to these lying women.

Alabama is gonna elect a known kiddie fiddler to the Senate. Nice. Ey yo, Mike Cernovich, where you at my brothah?

Meanwhile, at about the same time in Alabama, black men couldn’t look at a white woman for fear of getting falsely accused of rape, physically beaten, or worse. It’s amazing that there wasn’t more violence.

Anyone who thinks this will change anything, I have five words for you: grab 'em by the pussy. And here's three more as a bonus: N*ggers For Life.

You may be thinking how the GOPe turned on Milo, but that was totally different since he had no access to political power and was only an easily replacable messenger for the party (remember, he didn't even write his own ****). More importantly, he was groping little BOYS which is vile **** predation, whereas Moore went after little girls, who you know really wanted it and real men will be men so it's okay.
11-09-2017 , 07:13 PM
i won't be surprised when moore wins, it will confirm everything i already believe about republican voters
11-09-2017 , 08:14 PM
