IS is creating build-your-own-bomb kits to mail out to people

Quote:
In late July, Australia uncovered a suspected terror plot that was distinctive among Islamic State plots discovered within Western countries in three key ways. The first was that the Islamic State mailed the alleged plotters a package that amounted to a bomb-making kit, overcoming the dilemma of how to enable untrained individuals to construct explosive devices. The second was the targeting of an international airliner, which the Islamic State had previously only attempted within the Middle East region. The third was that it involved an attempt to use an improvised chemical dispersion device containing hydrogen sulfide, after the airliner attempt was aborted. Each of these methods highlight evolutions in the Islamic State’s approach to external operations.

lol yea i'm sure that getting a bomb making kit mailed to you is way more discrete, less risky, and quicker than doing a google search

bunch of ****ing loser idiots

NSA isn't scanning all postal packages these days are they?

i mean if youre some rando searching bomb making techniques/materials online, esp outside USA, it's not like FBI is going to show up at your doorstep the next morning.

If you are actually planning a terrorist attack, and used any electronic communication to help facilitate it, you are no longer a "rando," by definition.

I remember hearing that smugglers spread coke on most of the baggage that came into hub airports to confuse the dogs. Seems like it would an effective use of Trojans to flood that type of search activity on an cadence that would cover for actual searches.

From a data processing perspective, randomly sprinkled activity like that is relatively easy to detect while looking through access logs and search histories.

I believe you. I can't even get outlook to look the way I want after the last update so I'm out of my league.

How utterly unsurprising. https://www.thedailybeast.com/three-...ut-in-congress

Those who have worked on gun control legislation argued in real time that the NRA’s initial statement was, in essence, a diversion. They also insisted that a regulatory change at the ATF was insufficient for addressing the issue of bump stocks, if for no other reason than it would be challenged in court and future administrators could role back the regulations. Since then, the ATF Association, which consists of current and former ATF employees, has said that they do not have the authority to actually regulate bump stocks since current law prohibits them from regulating accessories.
Lol at anyone who thought the NRA was doing anything but buying time until the goldfish memories moved on.

2 shot and killed at Grambling State University, shooter remains at large

Quote:
Lincoln Parish Sheriff Mike Stone said the suspect and victims knew each other "to some extent" and stressed that the shooting wasn't random or an act of terrorism.

"There are no indicators that this incident bears any resemblance to any of the random acts of violence or domestic terrorism that have been experienced around our country in recent weeks," Stone said in a statement.
Sure okay but do we really know for sure yet?

Usually acts of terrorism don't start with arguments in students dorm rooms...

The calm before the storm as the SMP crowd breathlessly awaits the ethnicity of the truck driver to determine if they should come running in here with: "ban trucks" or "religion of peace".

driver yelled "Allah Akhbar" and intentionally veered into a crowd of pedestrians... #waitforthefacts

Think you are misguided.

Glad cars and trucks will be computerized as time goes by though. Programmed to refuse to run over people.

I guess "#waitforthefacts" is the new "Religion of peace". I need to keep up with my right-wing snark.

If the driver is white is "ban trucks" still the go to?

Like clockwork. They live for these moments when they can come back and sneer at all the dumb naive libtards who don't think Islamic terrorism is a thing.

Guess Donnie boy is gonna come out and say that if the courts didn't block his Muslim ban this would never have happened.
10-31-2017 , 05:10 PM
He'll probably get a 5% boost at least. Imagine Vegas but with a Muslim shooter and in a white church instead? GG democracy.

Wonder if the government allowed this to happen, knowing that the news of a mass shooting would cover up the indictments.

I know it's a crazy conspiracy theory but if the right can spin them, I should be able to indulge myself every so often.

In NYC, looks like another attack by a very sick and deranged person. Law enforcement is following this closely. NOT IN THE U.S.A.!
